Torn between fairy tales.

Chapter Five

At the lunch table I sit with Daphne,Elliot,Karlie,Lizzie and Andrew.
Daphne: uhh that was so crazy I signed up for 6 classes.
Andrew: So did I.
Lizzie: Me too!
Karlie: I only signed up for 3. I couldn't make up my mind.
Amelia: ya I only signed up for like 4.
Elliot: I signed up for 4 classes also.

I look over at Elliot and I know he singed up for 4 classes because he signed up for the same exact classes as me. We finish eating our lunch which is A chicken sandwich with celery and carrots on the side . Along with some ice cold tea.
Daphne:I am so glad the food is good here! At my high school the food was terrible.

We stand up and we follow one of the tour guide around the campus. We enter the library it is the biggest library I have ever seen.
Amelia:Wow this is even more beautiful than the cottage library!
Daphne:Cottage? Your staying in a cottage!!!
Amelia:Ya so is Karlie and Andrew.
Karlie:Ya the library in my cottage is huge too but not this huge.
Andrew: Ya I love the library that is in my cottage it has all of my favorite books.
Daphne:What did you say on your application in order for them to put you in a cottage! They must have been really impressed!

Elliot looks at me and smiles.
Elliot: they sure were.

We all look at Elliot confused.
Amelia:What do you mean by they?
Elliot:Uhh well I mean they must have been really impressed.

He smiles then walks off. That was really strange I wonder if he knows something.

The tour of the campus ends and Mark is here to pick us up and take us back to our cottages.

Mark opens the door for us and we get in
Mark: So how was it?
Andrew:Very good thank you for asking.
Karlie:Yes I can't wait to start tomorrow. I cannot wait to meet everyone in my classes!
Amelia: Ya me too but I know one person who will be in all my classes.
Karlie:Who?
Amelia:Elliot.
Andrew: How do you know that?
Amelia: because he signed up for all the same classes as me.
Andrew: sounds stalkerish.
Karlie: how cute! He must like you!
Amelia:Like me he just met me.
Mark: Well You are a very likable person Amelia. How many friends have you made today?
Amelia:Um I don't know maybe like 7.
Mark: See Amelia. You are very likable and Elliot obviously sees that.

First we drop off Andrew then we get to my cottage and Karlies cottage.

We both head to our cottage.
Karlie:See you tomorrow!

I wave to Karlie and then I head inside.

As soon as I get inside I put my heavy books down. I sit on the couch then hear something upstairs. I quickly grab a knife from the kitchen and go up there slowly trying not to make a sound. It sounds like it's coming from the bathroom. I slowly open the door and see that it is Ross Burke fixing the bathtub.
Amelia: Oh hi!
Ross: Hey! I'm almost done here.

He finishes tighting the spout with a wrench. He turns the knob and the water flows quickly. Then he turns it off.
Ross:There it is fixed.
Amelia:Thank you so much! Can I get you something to eat or drink?
Ross:I'm fine thank you.
Amelia:Please! It's the least I can do after you fixed the tub.

He smiles at me and nods his head.
Ross:Sure why not as long as you put that knife down

I laugh
Amelia:Oh sorry..

We walk downstairs and I put the knife back into the drawer.
Amelia:What do you like?
Ross: I'm fine with water.

I look at him and smile.
Amelia:I know a hard working hungry guy when I see one. So come on what do you want to eat.
Ross:Haha okay if it's not any trouble what about a sandwich.

I open the refrigerator and look inside.
Amelia: Ham,Turkey,Or roast beef?
Ross:Ham is fine.

I grab the ham out of the refrigerator.
Amelia:white or wheat bread?
Ross: Wheat.

I grab the wheat bread and make the sandwich for him and me. I hand him the plate.

I go back to the refrigerator.
Amelia:Drink?
Ross:Water is fine.

I go to the cabinent and I get two cups.

One for me and one for him. I fill the cups with water. I grab my plate and the two cups and head to the table.
Amelia: You could have started eating.
Ross: it's fine I was waiting for you.

I smile.
Amelia: aww that nice.

He smiles at me the. we start to eat.
Amelia:Angela was telling me that y'all had a garden?
Ross:Ya we do Fruits and vegetables.
Amelia: Those strawberries you picked were really delicious!
Ross: You liked them? I'll be sure and bring by more.
Amelia:Really?! That'd be great! Thank you so much!
Ross: Ya and maybe I can show you the garden sometime.

He looks smiles at me with little confidence hoping I will say yes.
Amelia:I'd like that! Sounds great! 

He stands up and helps me clean up.
Ross: Maybe I'll see you tomorrow and I can show you the garden.
Amelia: I can't wait! Maybe we can have dinner again too?
Ross:I don't see why not. And thank you so much for the sandwich. Maybe I'll make you something tomorrow!
Amelia: perhaps something from your garden?
Ross: if that's what you want.
Amelia: Ya see you tomorrow!

He smiles then winks at me and walks out the door and I shut it. I watch him go into the forest. Then I no longer see him.

Wow this day just got even better!! Ross is a really great guy! I like him he seems so sweet nice and well so attractive! He could be Max theiriot brother! Just cuter!!! I don't know what I am more excited about class or meeting with Ross tomorrow!!

Just then the door opens quickly it's Angela.
Angela: I am so sorry I'm late miss Ryder.
Amelia:Its okay Angela and please call me Amelia.
Angela:Um are you hungry?
Amelia:No I'm fine I already ate.
Angela: Oh what about dessert?
Amelia: not yet.

Angela quickly goes to the kitchen and puts the cheese cake on the plate and hands it to me. I start to eat it and oh my it's...beautiful!!
Amelia:Delicious Angela delicious!
Angela: thank you and I'm sorry I couldn't make you dinner.
Amelia: Oh its fine I had dinner with Ross.
Angela:What?
Amelia:Ya he was here when I got home so I asked him and we ate together.We might eat dinner together tomorrow too.
Angela:Um miss Ryder I don't think that is a good idea.

I put my plate down.
Amelia:Why is that?
Angela: Well Ross is a very busy guy. Then You well you are gonna be very busy with College and such.
Amelia: And such?
Angela:Well studying and making friends.
Amelia:Ya I know but what Ross can't be my friend?
Angela: I'm not saying you  can't I'm just saying Staff and students usually never talk to each other. They just do what they need to do and that's it. That's how it is here.
Amelia:Well I want to be his friend and I'm going to be his friend. Your my friend arnt you? I mean you are very nice and friendly Angela.
Angela:Yes ma'am we are friends.
Amelia: Well I'm glad.... And what did I say about calling me ma'am? Don't worry I'm not mad .
Angela: I better clean up and head home.

She starts to clean up the little mess then she leaves the cottage.

I wonder why she is acting like that. I know I only known her for about a day or so but I'm worried about her I hope she is okay.

You can tell if she thinks I am mad she calls me ma'am or she calls me by my last name. I wish she would just relax and slow down.  I start to head to the stairs when I hear a knock at the door. I look out the peep hole. Then its some guy with flowers I can't see his face. I open the door and he hands me the flowers then leaves.

I shut the door and look at the roses. I noticed a card so I start to read it.
Dear,Amelia I'm so glad I met you today. I can't wait to see you again tomorrow.

Yet again it's the same hand writing as the other note but no Signature or nothing.

Who could they be from I met a lot of people today. Maybe I will find out who sent these roses tomorrow.
