Missy had a charismatic personality.

That's why, when Tom and Malfoy and Lestrange went to confront her, it ended up in a light-hearted conversation.

What was even more ironic was that it was about filthy mudbloods and muggles. But Missy can easily adapt to her surroundings, changing her opinions or how she carries herself and her emotions. She did it all the time at the orphanage, switching from innocent church girl to an attention-seeking whore.

"And what's worse is that they think they're so entitled.." Malfoy explains his anger, Lestrange nodding and Missy sitting next to him in the plush couch of the slytherin common room. Tom sat by an arm chair next to them, silently rageing as he sees how easily Missy is taking in this information, all these insults are being thrown at her and she shows nothing.

She knows too much.

"They really do think they have the right to be here, at Hogwarts." Missy adds in, forgetting to mention the fact that she, herself, is a mudblood.

"These mudbloods are filthy and rotten. Honestly, they have absolutely no place to be here." Tom finally speaks up, targeting his eyes to Missy, watching as her face scans his over.

Then she starts to smile. And then laugh.

Malfoy and Lestrange both look at Missy in confusion, not being able to find the reason for Missy's giggling fit.

"That's rich, coming from you." She manages to say through her laughter. Tom's face tinting a pale pink.

"What are you talking about Missy?" Lestrange asks her.

"What, you haven't told them?" Missy finally calms down, looking from Malfoy, to Lestrange, to Tom.

"I have no idea what you're implying." Tom simply says, unconsciously tighting his grip on the armchair.

"Would you like me to explain my statement, Tom?" Missy smirks, tilting her head in a taunting way. Lestrange and Malfoy sit back, watching the drama unfold.

"You wouldn't dare." Tom grits his teeth, running his tongue over the inside of his cheek, a common thing he did whenever he was mad.

"I would dare, and you know it." She simply states, looking Tom up and down one more time before getting up off the couch,

"I'll see you at dinner." She says, right before she walks out of the common room, leaving Tom filled with something that he hadn't felt in a long time, something he didn't believe was even real- terror.
