"Jade" He whispers.

We stood there for what felt like forever, just staring into each other's eyes. The smell of his cedar cologne with a hint of vanilla suffocates me. He's still wearing the cologne I gifted him. I almost want to pull him into my arms as the nostalgic scent overtakes me.

His eyes bore into mine. Not a single word from either of us as we stood there taking each other in. It's been six years since we've been this close to each other. Everything about him was so entrancing that it took everything in me not to pull him into me.

His hand lifts to my face and I shut my eyes, wondering if this is all a dream. He softly brushes a stand of my stray hair across from my face and caresses my face so softly, as if worried that he might break me.

"Jade" He breaks the silence between us.

I immediately snap out of it and slap his hand off of me roughly.

"Jade!" He yells as I quickly walk away from him. I continue towards the kitchen, not once looking back. I refuse.

Jungkook watches the girl from behind as she walks further and further away from him. Just like he did to her six years ago. The aching pain he felt then that had submerged throughout the years has resurfaced.

I run into one of the girls who was assigned to the other rooms in the kitchen.

"Hey! Do you think you could switch rooms with me?" I ask.

She looks a bit unsure. "Are we allowed to?"

"Yeah it's fine. Don't worry." I reassure her.

"Oh okay. That's fine" The girl nods her head.

I hand her the platter of food meant for room 1 and take over what she was doing earlier.

Just as I was about to head to room 4, Hye Ran stopped me.

"What's going on?" She asks me.

"What do you mean?" I played dumb.

"Why did you switch?"

Ugh. I was not in the mood for interrogation time. I didn't prepare for this. I didn't know they were just going to walk back into my life like this.

"Son Yeon said that she wanted to. She's a fan of BTS" I lied.

Hye Ran looks at me like she doesn't believe me, but let's it go thank god. However, knowing her I know she was going to continue this conversation later on.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is sitting back at the booth. A frustrated look adorns his face despite his PR girlfriend who he no longer was interested in trying to entertain him.

"C'mon baby. Let's go dance" She runs her hand up and down his chest.

"I'm tired." He pushes her hand off of him. However, that was just an excuse. He didn't want to leave the room because he was waiting for Jade to come back. Little did he know that for the rest of the night she would be serving another room.

Jungkook's band members are also not in a partying state as they are worried about their younger brother. Worried glances are shared among the six guys, but Jungkook is not oblivious to their silent conversation. He downs the rest of his whiskey in one go, hoping to get drunk as quickly as possible.

-

It's been a long night and my feet honestly hurt so much. It feels good to just sit out here in the refreshing air. Away from the deafening music and the body heat inside the club. I sit on the hood of Hyun Soo's car, my head tilted up towards the night sky as I let out a puff of the blunt that rests in my right hand.

My feet shakes to the beat of the music blaring from the club as I let myself relax. However, my relaxation time cuts short to the sound of the back door slamming shut.

Jungkook stands there across from me.

"Go away." I say sternly.

He walks towards me. His eyes scan my body from head to toe, lingering a bit longer on my breast that was spilling out of my blouse that I had unbuttoned once I clocked out.

I rolled my eyes. Well at least I know that my body still has him feeling some type of way.

"You still smoke?" He asks when he's done checking me out.

I tilt my head slightly. "What's it to you?" I take a hit and blow it out into his face.

He waves the smoke away from his face. "This seat taken?" He nods towards the empty spot beside me.

"Yea."

"There's no one else here." He states the obvious and takes a seat beside me anyways.

I rolled my eyes. "Why'd you even bother asking then?" I cross my leg over the other one and turn my body so I'm slightly facing away from him.

"What did I tell you about rolling your eyes? Keep it up and it'll roll out of your head one day."

I was about to roll my eyes again at that comment, but stopped midway.

We sat in silence once again until I broke it by asking if he wanted a hit.

"Nah"

"If you're not here to smoke, you can go ahead and leave."

"Let's talk." He grabs me by the waist and turns me around so I'm fully facing him.

I scoff. "Talk? Sure baby, let's talk." My fingers traced the length of his arm. His arms twitched underneath my touch as I trailed my hand over his veiny arms. I admired his sleeve of tattoos as I did so. "What should we talk about? Your new found fame? Your army of fans? Your career?" My hand finds its way to the bottom of his shirt. I played with the buttons working my way up from the bottom to the top. "Or how about your trophy case full of hundreds of awards? Congratulations on another Billboard by the way." I say sarcastically. Finally my hand reaches his gold wishbone necklace. My finger hooks around it. "Or how about how you tossed me out like trash six years ago to achieve all that." I spat and fling the necklace back at him.

A look of pain flashes in his eyes at my words.

"Tossed out like trash is a cruel way of putting it." He says coolly and just like that the cool Jungkook was back. The one who rarely showed his feelings. The bad boy that all the girls fawned over.

I bite the inside of my cheeks in annoyance. "So what way should I put it?"

"Don't act like you didn't get anything out of it."

"I got nothing out of it? While you're off blowing racks on bottle service at a club with a new chick on your arm and living your best life on the road, I'm still stuck here."

"So half a million is nothing to you then? You're still getting paid." He laughs.

"Half a million in one payment is different from payments in installments." I take a slow drag of my joint.

He rolled his eyes at me. Look who's rolling their eyes now.

"Don't worry. We have money now. BigHit isn't what it was before when this all started. I'll make sure they send you the rest of your money by tomorrow. If money is the reason why you have a stick up your ass, you should have said something sooner." He hops off the car and walks back to the door.

What an ass. "I fucking hate you Jeon Jungkook!" I yell as he walks away.
