Pt. 24

I woke up and saw a sleepy Jaden laying on my chest, I giggled at how cute he was I went on my phone and saw I had a text from an unknown number.

Unknown

Hi there princess. Miss me?

Who is this? Cuz u may have the wrong number

No. This is the right number. Its Derek.

When I read the name, I started to panic. Derek is my VERY toxic ex and I ran away from him because we lived together. I told Josh and he said he would protect me. Derek hasn't done anything until today.

I'm gonna give you one chance to get away from your little boyfriend.

No! You dont get to do that!

Oh but I do. See you soon.

I immediately woke Jaden up.

"J-jae..." I say in tears. He groans as he opens his eyes. When he sees me in tears he immediately sits up and hugs me. "Its ok babygirl, it's ok." He says calmly. "M-my ex. He-s co-ming. Hes go-nna hurt y-ou...." I say stuttering. "What ex baby?" He asks. I realize he doesnt know his name. "Derek, the abusive one. He hurt me a lot but I ran away from him back home and told Josh." I say more calmly now. "Ok ok we have to go tell Josh because he can also help us ok?" He asks. I nod my head and jump out of bed. I run out of my room and knock on Josh and Nessas. "Josh can I please come in? its urgent." I ask. "Ya come in!" He yells back. I open the door and see Nessa hiding under the convers and Josh shirtless. "You werent- you know what? Never mind." I say laughing. "Uh ya anyways what's up?" He asks. "Oh ya um Derek texted me somehow and hes threatening me to get away from Jaden. Im scared because he said see you soon." I explain. "Oh god not this bitch again. Ok well I'll keep an eye out around the house and I'll get the boys to aswell. Stay with Jaden as long as possible until we get this figured out. Go out for a bit. Get your mind off of it." He suggests. I nod and go get dressed. Jaden is still laying down cuz his lazy ass is tired and wants me to stay. "But he could take you! I dont want that baby." He whines. Hes needy and worried now. That's not a good combination. "I'll be ok bub! I just need to get my mind off of everything  going on. Please Jae! I'll be ok!" I beg wanting to bet our of the house. "Ok fine but I want u back soon." He says. "Ok ok that's fine! Ok walk me downstairs please." I say. He grabs me by my waist and pulls me over his shoulder running down the stairs. "Ahhh Jae put me down dumdum!" I squeal. Hes just laughing and so am I. He sets me down at the front door and kissed me goodbye. "Bye babygirl. Stay safe please. I love you." He says looking into my eyes. "I will bub. I love you too. See you soon." I say blushing. I walk out of the door and sit in my car. I out some music on and drove to the mall. I sat in the parking lot and was there for like 2 hours. Just then, Jaden called. "Hey bub what's up?" I ask. "Where r u right now?" He asks. He sounds worried. "I'm at the mall right now, why?" I ask. "Because we got a note at the house saying that you were gone...... can you please come home?" He says. I immediately know it was Derek. "Yep I'm coming right now. Stay in the house and look out the window until I'm home ok?" "Ok I miss u please stay safe." Jaden says. "I will bye baby." "Bye." I hang up and drive home. I pull into the driveway and see a car behind me. I run to the house and Jaden had already opened the door. I run into his arms and I push him in and close the door right before shots we rung out. I ran into the kitchen and sat beside jaden under a counter. "What the fuck is going on babe?" He asks. "Welcome to my life. Being the ex of a psychopath. Hes here to either take me or kill me." I yell. I call josh and he says hes upstairs with Nessa and the guys. "Please stay up there! I'll take care of it." I say into the phone. "We will be safe T!" Josh says through the phone. "Ok I'll see you soon I love you all so much." I say crying while Jaden is hugging me. "We love you too!" They all say as i end the call. The shots had stopped so i texted the number.

What in the hell do you think you're doing? Do you want me dead?

Ya a little bit but i just need you.

Well because you're mine and no one gets to have you.

You are a psychopath. Stop the shots and I'll come out.

With that the shots stopped and I crept to the door. "What r u doing?! You're going to get yourself killed!" He yells. "Its ok Jae. I've got this." I stepped outside and there he was, Derek, standing with a gun to my head. "Great to see you princess." He says. "Dont call me that." I snap. "Oo feisty, are we?" "No just done with u and your bullshit." I say. "Well if u dont come, everyone in this house dies. Pick and choose." I look back at Jaden and make eye contact. "Oh is this the boyfriend?" He asks. "Do not hurt him Derek." I say sternly. "How nice to meet you. What a first impression mate!" Derek says sarcastically. Derek points the gun at Jaden. "DEREK DO NOT! HE HAS DONE NOTHING! TAKE ME IF YOU NEED BUT DO NOT HURT HIM OR ANYONE IN THIS DAMN HOUSE!" I yell. "So you're coming?" He asks. "Yes I'm coming. Let me grab my things and I'll be out." I say. "Fine but you get 5 minutes." He says taking the gun down out of Jadens area. I run inside and I grab my phone and jacket. I'll send Jaden my location from my phone but if he takes my phone, my jacket has a location tracker so when we stop, I'll press a button and it'll send it to Jadens phone. I hooked it up when I got it but Jaden doesnt know. I grab everything and I say goodbye to everyone. I walk downstairs and hug Jaden. "Please dont leave.." Jaden begs. "Bub I have to! I don't want you hurt." I peck him on the lips and was about to walk out of the house until he grabs my wrist and he pulls me into a very passionate kiss. "I love you." He says. "I love you too." I say back walking out of the door. This should be fun.
