Johnny looked up at me with a confused look on his face, still waiting for my answer. God, why did I have to run into him, of all people? More importantly, what do I say to him? I'm at loss for words. Think of something, fast.
"I-I... I'm so sorry" I apologized. I got off of him, and helped him to his feet.
"It's okay, but how do you know me?"
"Uh... I... it's just that..." I didn't even finish my sentence, cause I just ran away from him. Damn! Why do I have to be so shy? Why can't I just tell him? I ran all the way to my house, non-stop. Get inside, get inside, get inside! I burst through the door, finding Two-Bit sprawled on the couch. He looked up at me from his position.
"Hey, you alright, Bell?" Oh Two-Bit, the nickname he gave me. It's a nickname, of my nickname. Kind of confusing, but I get it. I sighed and sat on his stomach.
"No really, I ran into Johnny today" I responded. He sat up, knocking me down. "Hey!" A smile appeared on his face.
"Hey, how's it like down there?" I stood up off the floor, and pulled his arm, bringing him to the ground. Then, I made myself comfortable on the couch. "Uh, I don't think so, better get off that couch, little sister" he said. I smiled.
"Make me" I challenged. At that moment, he picked me up, and placed me on his shoulder. I screamed as he began running outside. "Keith, put me down!"
"Never!" He ran across the whole yard, before tripping, and falling down. Luckly, I fell on top of him. "Whoa, you weight a load full" he joked.
"Look who's talking, chocolate eating, Two-Bit" I replied.
"Doesn't count, it ain't the same thing" he said. I laughed.
"Two-Bit, if it's food, it counts, dumbass" I laughed. He cocked an eyebrow at me. I looked at him, then at his hair. Hmm, I got an idea. I messed up his hair, before he could stop me.
"Hey, not my hair" he whined, sitting up. I laughed.
"Oh, Two-Bit, you're such a girl" I teased. He looked at me, and smirked, before pulling me into a hug.
"Am not, but I do use your hair oil" he said. I gasped.
"Two-Bit! You don't!" He laughed and nodded.
"Oh, yea I do" he responded. I tried wiggling out of his grasp, when out of nowhere-
"Hey, Two-Bit, do you- Whoa, who's this beautiful girl?" We both looked up, finding Dallas looking down at us. "Wait, you were the girl at the park, weren't you?" I froze.
"Girl from the park, what's he talking about, Bell?" Again, before I knew it, I stood up and ran inside. Oh no, oh no, oh no. They can't find out about me. I don't want my brother's gang to know he has a little sister, I'm not all that good around boys.
