Astoria fluttered open her eyelids, quickly shutting them again as bright sunlight assaulted them, her head pounding sickeningly.

Emitting a loud groan, she rolled over, burying her face into her pillow, wishing she had the strength to reach up and turn it over to get the cool side.

A soft chuckle made her startle.

Her heart thudding, she pushed herself up and twisted her head round, wincing in agony as she did so.

Draco Malfoy was sat in a chair next to her bed, silver eyes twinkling down at her.

"What the fu-?" She started to say before realising her throat was too dry and painful to speak properly.

"Here," he said, amusement dancing in his eyes as he handed her a glass of water which she shakily accepted, gulping it down greedily.

Astoria desperately tried to recall the previous night, desperate to piece together the events which led Draco to be in that chair next to her bed.

The warehouse... the banner... vodka...

Damn, she couldn't remember much after the first bottle. There was music, and she was dancing on the table at one point. But after that... nothing.

"Don't worry," the Slytherin smirked, straightening his tie. "I was a complete gentleman, despite you literally begging for it."

His fingers lingered on his tie, and horror filled Astoria's head as a hazy memory of trying to lead him to her bed reached her.

She buried her face back into the pillow, praying that he would be gone by the time she lifted it again.

But alas, he was still there, the sun shining brightly off his white-blond hair and an amused smirk still plastered across his face.

Merlin, why hadn't she taken the anti hangover potion when she'd gotten in? She glanced down her body, realising she was still in her previous night's clothes, even her ankle boots were still on her feet. He literally hadn't taken off a single item of her clothing.

She didn't want to think about how bad her face must be looking.

Glancing back up at Draco, she felt a flicker of irritation about how perfect and unruffled he looked.

"Did you stay the whole night on the chair?" she asked thickly, squinting over at the clock on her bedside.

Fuck, it was almost midday. She'd missed her morning lecture and was going to be running late for meeting her sister for lunch to discuss wedding dresses. This would never had happened if she'd just taken that sodding potion like she'd planned.

"I couldn't have you choking to death," Draco drawled lazily, oblivious to her internal panic. "Your sister would have no doubt found a way to blame me if you did."

Astoria jumped up, resisting the urge to scream in his face that it would have been his fault. Somehow him being there had made her forget to take her potion and now she was screwing up her education and running late for appointments.

And she fully blamed Draco Malfoy because she was hungover and irritable and possibly on her period.

"What's the rush?" He mused as she started rummaging around in her bedside cabinet, quickly unstoppering the vial of hangover potion and knocking it back in one gulp as soon as she had located it. "I thought maybe we could go for a coffee-"

"I HAVEN'T GOT TIME TO GO FOR A FUCKING COFFEE!" She blew up, her sore throat and headache quickly evaporating but unfortunately for Draco, her anger still very much staying put. "NOT ALL OF US HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD TO PISS ABOUT ON OUR RICH ARSES, MALFOY!"
