~Part Five~

England looked down and sighed once he saw the year. "1759". The nations had noticed his hesitance, and very quickly became curious. Canada looked over his shoulder, and once he saw what it was about, he let out a slight scoff, and looked at the ground, folding his arms. Mexico noticed, and after a few seconds, got the slightly irritated nation's attention. "What's it about?" He asked, and Canada just sighed, shaking his head.

England, still not knowing that Canada was right besides him, answered with, "Well, it says 1759." Five countries in particular winced, even if it was ever so slightly. The others looked at the five, including Arthur, confused. So, he gained some courage, and started reading.

So, things are happening, not very good ones, but things nonetheless. So, three years ago, Iggy declared war on France, because they both wanted the Ohio territory, and a war started in Europe? I don't know, I only know what Iggy cares to rant about, which is mostly France, and that's it. So, I don't get much information.

But, the worst thing about this is that, they are pinning me against Canada. I don't want to fight him! It just sucks. I also heard that France is starting to focus more and more on Europe, which makes me feel really bad for Mattie. I want to go check on him, but the timing isn't right, and if I'm caught, Iggy will not be happy.

I just hate this. I'm being pinned against my brother and can't do anything about it. I want this to end as quickly as possible, as I know it's causing us both a lot of pain, and it's over such a small piece of land... I just hate this so much.

Most of the nations looked over at England and France kinda... Annoyed is the best term. Because, honestly, of course this happened. Doesn't mean what happened was good, it was just France and England being rivals because, why not, and people were dragged in to the conflict. This happens so much, it basically became normal.

Alright, the war ended, and I'm not sure how to feel, actually, I'm pretty annoyed. Around 1758 and 1760, England decided to attack Mattie. Because, empire. He captured Quebec and a lot of other land, and this year, France ceded all of Canada to him, and was kicked out of the continent. So, I guess Mattie is going to be living with me, since he's still pretty young.

Hoesntly, I don't know. I just kind of wonder if he thinks worse of me, I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I was kind of thrown into all of this, and so was he, but still. Hopefully he doesn't and blames Iggy, but whatever.

I do feel bad, as he probably went through a lot, and it was kind of my fault, I just don't know. There's a lot of ways this can turn out, and I hope, it won't be too bad, but things like to change. A lot. Annoying but whatever.

We'll just have to see. - America

The countries all let out a unanimous sigh, Canada had a small glared directed at the Brit, but this went unnoticed by everyone except his southernmost brother, who was staring down said Brit and a certain frenchy with a huge passive aggressive glare. The room was quiet, from the tension the North Americans were giving off, and even though most couldn't see Canada, they all felt the vibe he was giving the place, which wasn't really nice.

England continued after only less then a minute, as he wasn't up for getting shot or hit over the head with a hockey stick right now.

Well, I have good news and bad news, the bad out-waying the good sadly. Both about Mattie. He doesn't blame me for the war, but was greatly effected by it. He is in a rough state due to France not focusing on him, sad because he feels, and he has told me this, that he was forgotten by France, or France outright didn't care. I tried to tell him that both of those were false, but he now just says he was forgotten, and I don't know what to do.
