The night of the Louis Vuitton fashion show was completely unexpected. I went into the night just hoping I'd be able to not think of Enya romantically and then we ended up sort of agreeing to start dating. Telling our friends was a bit harder. I purposely waited until the next day to tell Orion, but it went really well.

I softly knocked on her room door the following morning. "Come in", she called and I opened the door. She was sitting on her bed reading, but she tossed the book to the side and sat criss cross to make room for me. "Good morning", I said while sitting down, "I have so much to tell you from when we got split up at the party". "Oh my gosh same here! I saw a girl who works at my modeling agency and we started chatting. I think she was flirting with me. We ended up making plans for Monday night to have dinner", Orion blurted. So I wasn't wrong about what I saw at the bar? Good to know that her crush on me was starting to fade away. I guess I was zoned out for a bit because she tapped by knee and said "sorry what did you have to tell me?"

I blinked back into focus, "Um so Enya and I kissed last night and I'm not sure if it was from all the champagne we had but I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes..." I trailed off at the end trying to guess what her reaction would be. She was silent for a bit before speaking. "Oh. So the being friends thing is over with you two then?". I quickly responded, "we were tipsy and you know Enya has a hard time committing herself to things. I was going to talk to her about it today anyways. I doubt we'll be super exclusive but probably just try to figure out the feelings we have for each other. I know I promised we'd all stay friends, but something honestly just came over me last night". Orion nodded and I could see a look of understanding settle on her face. "I'm not jealous Eden. I think the crush I had for you was something strange, but you're right it's better for us to be friends. I can't really say the same for you and Enya. You two clearly like each other and shouldn't just ignore that". I thanked her and threw on some comfortable clothes before going to Enya and Drew's place.

"Open the door fuckers it's hot out here!" I yelled from outside their apartment. Enya ended up opening it for me and my goofy tone stopped immediately and a smile came across my face. I entered and walked with Enya to her room. "Is Drew not here?" I asked as we plopped ourselves on her bed. "Nah. He went with Elisa to the shop". I nodded before I started speaking, "so Um about yesterda-" "Can we actually not put a label on it? I know I said okay yesterday, but I was a bit tipsy and I still wanna figure out my own sexuality. It's not gonna be easy to just jump into an exclusive relationship". I chuckled at her frantically trying to explain herself. "That's what I was coming over to say. I was really swept up in the moment and you looked beautiful last night, so I asked that question not thinking that for you it may not be easy. We can move at whatever pace is most comfortable for you. And about Orion, I already spoke to her she supports us. She also is going on a date with some girl from her modeling agency on Monday". After clarifying, we just resumed our normal conversation. I put some music on, and Enya showed me a bunch of art she had completed over the last week. It was a calm day.

The next Friday....

"So what are we doing for Josiah's birthday today?" I asked the group. Enya was seated next to me on the couch with her legs draped across mine. Christian and Elisa were sitting side by side against the wall, and Drew was coming out of the kitchen with a red Bull. "He said he wants us all to come to karaoke tonight", Christian answered from across the room. "Time for me to show off my talents", said Drew. "What fucking talents? You literally can't sing at all". "Enya!" I slapped her knee, but still couldn't stop myself from laughing at her comments. "Whatever. You bitches are dark sided", he responded before sitting on the floor and leaning on the couch.

About an hour later, Orion came by to pick me up after work. "Oh shit Orion's outside and she can't find parking. I gotta go." I quickly grabbed up my bag and cardigan before kissing Enya on the cheek and rushing out the door. "Karaoke tonight for Josiah's birthday. We're all meeting there at 7", I informed Orion as I hopped in the passenger seat. "Sounds good to me. Good thing we got his present earlier this week. We only have two hours to get ready". I nodded in agreement and turned up the music. We sang our hearts out in preparation for tonight.

After wasting thirty minutes ruffling through my closet, I finally settled on an orange, tribal pattern dress with flare sleeves, knee high black platform boots and a colorful scarf tied around my hair that was pulled into a puff. Once I got dressed, I went into the living room waiting for Orion. She came out about 40 minutes later, and we watched an episode of Friends that was on TV before getting in the car and driving to the karaoke bar.

While we were in the car, Orion gave me an update about the girl she was seeing. Their date on Monday went well, and they went out again on Wednesday for lunch. "So how are things with Enya?" She asked me. My face got hot because I wasn't used to speaking about the romantic feelings I had for her. "It's great. I took her out to dinner on Sunday, we had brunch on Tuesday and then as you already know I slept over there Wednesday night". After I said that last part, I saw Orion raise her eyebrows causing me to roll my eyes. "Nothing happened besides kissing. We're taking it slow. We just watched a bunch of movies and Drew forced us to make a cameo in his newest YouTube video". By the time we finished talking, we arrived at the bar.

As we stepped in, I automatically searched for our friends which was difficult in the dimly lit bar. Finally we spotted them in a booth towards the back and walked over. "Happy birthday!" Orion and I said to Josiah at the same time before handing him the bags we out his gifts in. He hugged us and thanked us for the gifts. I scooted in the extra large booth next to Enya and gave her a side hug. "You look cute", I said to her and noticed her blushing. "Are you going to blush every time I compliment you?" I asked her causing her to giggle adorably. "Probably. You look nice too I love that dress". I could only manage to get out a thank you before the next singer started their performance.

I leaned across to ask Josiah what he was singing tonight. "I'm up next singing Don't Stop Me Now, but I need some back up. You and Drew should come up there with me". I nodded eagerly at him in response. When the previous singer finished her song, Josiah, Drew and I walked up to the stage. There were only two microphones, so when I stood next to Drew I whispered to him, "don't think for one second I'm not going to try my absolute best to outshine you". "You can try all you want doesn't mean you'll be successful". I tried to stifle my laugh as the music started. Josiah gave an amazing and exciting performance. His natural talent for singing made this easy for him, but Drew and I fought over the microphone in the back the whole time. The spotlight never left Josiah on his birthday though which was awesome.

After the performance, we ordered some martinis and French fries to the table while we watched the other singers go up. A few people passed by before Elisa randomly shouted, "let's do the Spice Girls!" "Oh my gosh yes!" Orion agreed immediately. We signed ourselves up to sing "Wannabe",and all six of us ran on the stage. Luckily the worker had another microphone, so we only had to share in pairs. Of course Enya and I partnered up together. It was so fun. We all sang terribly and danced just as bad, but the audience laughed and cheered us on. When we finished we were engulfed in applauses.

We spent the rest of the night drinking and enjoying all the performances. It was amazing to get out with all my friends again. Having Enya by my side and not having to hide my feelings was another amazing plus. Josiah's birthday went perfectly.

A/N: I know I probably scared you guys with that girlfriend proposal at the end of the last chapter. Don't worry though, I still love a slow burn and don't want to rush the relationship between Eden and Enya. Right now they're just slowly getting into the hang of dating. Hope you're all liking it so far!
