I have to tell you something

A few months had gone by and Sonic was happy to be back.

Having Shadow, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge with them now it's been easier.

Especially with Shadow.

Sonic had been feeling different feelings for Shadow.

Shadow had officially admitted he loved Sonic a month after he came back.

Sonic was hanging out behind a tree when he saw Shadow.

"Hey Shads." he said.

"Hey Faker." Shadow said. Might if I join you?"

"Sure." he said and Shadow sat next to him.

They laid there relaxing for an hour and Shadow was thinking.

Then he looked at Sonic.

"Hey Sonic?" he said and Sonic looked at him.

"Yeah?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a picnic with me later as a date?"

"Uh sure."

Shadow smiled.

"So, five?"

"OK."

Then they got up and split up.

When he got home Shadow smiled and got ready.

"I hope this works." he said.

Two hours later Shadow was waiting for Sonic.

Then he saw something blue come and stop right in front of him.

"Hey Shads." Sonic said smiling.

"Hey Sonic. So you ready?" Shadow said.

"Yup." he said and followed him.

When they got to where Shadow wanted to go Sonic was shocked.

There were lights, food and other things.

"Wow. Shadow why did you make it like this?" he asked.

"I just wanted to make it special." he said a little red.

Then they sat down and ate.

When they were done eating they sat there quietly watching kids playing.

Sonic smiled.

"I always wanted a family of my own." he said.

"Really?"

"Yeah. Get married and have kids someday."

"Could you picture one with me?"

Sonic looked at him in shock while Shadow covered his mouth.

"Huh?" Sonic said.

"I'm sorry! It slipped out! It's just, I love you." Shadow said causing Sonic to turn red.

"I, I love you to." he said.

Then they looked at each other, got closer and kissed.

They kissed for a whole minute then let go and looked at each other smiling.

"Does that make us a couple?" Shadow asked.

"I guess so." Sonic said.

Then they kissed each other again.
