The hero is back!

The next day everyone was back in Sonic's house.

"So now that you're strength is back are you becoming the hero again?" Tails asked. "Because you know you have us five!"

Sonic sat there in silence thinking.

"Come on Sonic. You know you want to." Knuckles said smirking a little.

"Yeah Faker, you loved fighting doctor. Even after starting when you were five." Shadow said.

Sonic sat there still in silence.

He saw all the fights he had done and knew he enjoyed it.

He had stopped because he had to save the world and knew his Chaos was getting to weak to continue soon. Now that he has the limiters he doesn't have to worry about his Chaos anymore.

'You don't have to worry about your Chaos anymore and have a bigger team. You can do it again.' he thought.

Then he smirked.

"I'm gonna need a fresh batch of Power Rings, my communicator and some fun." he said and everyone but Shadow smiled.

Shadow smirked.

"I'm staying with your team though." he said still smirking.

"Go right ahead." Sonic said and Tails came back with his communicator.

"Here you go!" he said smiling.

"Thanks buddy." he said and put it back on.

"I wonder what's gonna happen this time." Amy said.

"I don't know. But I do know is that Eggman will be shocked when he finds out you're back." Knuckles said smirking.

Suddenly they heard something.

They looked at each other.

"Ready for a fight Faker?" Shadow asked smirking.

"Oh yeah!" Sonic said.

"Let's go then." Rouge said.

Then they headed out for another fight.

When they got there they saw Eggman there.

"I wonder where Team Sonic is now? I heard there was another Sonic hunt the other day." Eggman said.

They looked at each other and nodded.

"Looking for us?" Shadow said while Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge stood there.

"There you are. Team Sonic is here for some fun as usual."

Shadow rolled his eyes.

"Of course we're here doctor." he said and smirked a little. "And we have a friend with us."

"Huh?" people there said confused.

"Who?" Sticks asked.

Then they nodded and Sonic ran, jumped and ran through a Swatbot.

"Huh?" they all said.

"Hey Egghead. You miss me?" Sonic said smirking.

"SONIC?!" they all said.

"Hello!" he said and was next to Tails and Knuckles as usual back then.

"How?" Eggman asked.

"I used Chaos Control that day to stop time. Then I was in a coma from exhaustion for four years. Shadow would keep looking for me and one day a few days ago he, Tails, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese, Amy and Rouge were looking for me. Somehow Shadow found the star I set up and brought me home."

They all looked at them in shock.

"That's why you'd be gone for hours. You were trying to find Sonic." Sally said causing Shadow to turn a little red.

"Yeah, and?" he said trying to hide it.

"I'm just surprised after you two's history."

"He risked his life for me being only fifteen and me being older than fifty. He still had a lot of life left so I swore to find him somewhere."

Eggman was shocked to.

"Anyway, let's get this done." Knuckles said.

They all smirked and got to work.

It felt good fighting him again. Now that he had what he needed to keep his strength he'll do it.

When they were done they smirked watching Eggman go flying.

"You still got it." Shadow said.

"Thanks to you guys." Sonic said.

Then they split up and relaxed.

While Shadow laid on his bed he thought about something.

'Do I love him?'
