Trust me 2

Wedding day!

It had been three months since they had Maria and everything was doing fine.

Sonic was now back to being the hero along with Shadow.

Vanilla had helped them a lot and will take Maria whenever they want a break, need a break, at work or something like that.

It was the day they were getting married and were in bed.

When they woke up they smiled.

"It's the day we get married." Shadow said.

"I know. I can't believe we're getting married already." Sonic said.

Shadow smiled and gave him a kiss.

Then they heard Maria crying.

"I got it." Shadow said and got up.

Sonic nodded and just laid there quietly smiling.

"We're gonna be married." he said quietly.

Then he got up and made some breakfast.

"Look who's up and hungry." Shadow said smiling and put Maria on her highchair.

"Good more sweetie." Sonic said and gave her a kiss. "Mommy will get your bottle in a second."

Then he headed to the fridge and grabbed her a bottle.

"There we go." he said and Shadow fed her while Sonic made breakfast.

Twenty minutes later they were eating breakfast.

After breakfast their friends came to get them ready.

The girls took Sonic, the boys took Shadow and Vanilla took Maria.

"It's weird. One minute I hate him and are rival the next I'm a parent and about to marry him." Shadow said.

"I know." Knuckles said and snickered. "You hated him!"

"Why did you hate him anyway?" Silver asked.

"I don't know to be honest." Shadow said.

Meanwhile the girls were at Amy's getting Sonic ready.

"Can you believe it's finally happening?" Amy asked smiling excited. "Sonic and Shadow are getting married!"

"I know. You minute you fight the next you're a parent and getting married." Rouge said.

"I had a crush on him since I saw him but hid it." Sonic said.

They looked at him like he has six heads.

"You've loved him since the first time you met?" Amy said shocked.

"I thought you didn't like him after what he did to you." Cream said.

"I know, but I did." Sonic said. "I can't believe he looked for me every week when we defeated Dark Oak."

"I know. We were shocked to." Rouge said.

Then Amy looked at the clock.

"It's time for you, to get married." she said smiling.

Sonic smiled and then headed to the alter.

When they got there they saw Shadow standing there looking nervous.

Everyone was smiling while they watched them looking at each other.

"Do you Shadow take Sonic to be your mate?" the priest said.

"I do." Shadow said smiling.

"Do you Sonic take Shadow to be your mate?"

"I do." Sonic said smiling.

"I now pronounce you, mates."

Then they kissed each other while everyone else clapped.

After that they had the reception.

Tails was standing up making a toast.

"Sonic, Shadow, It's a shock at what happened. Not getting along that well when you first met is the big surprised!" Tails said getting them all to laugh remembering the beginning. "Then when Shadow gave himself to defeat Bio Lizard Sonic had acted like he normally would but me and Knuckles could tell something wasn't right. Then when we saw you again we were shocked but at the same time relieved. When you fought as Super but for no reason we were all confused. Then when you fought Dark Oak and defeated him I was shocked but at the same time wasn't when Sonic gave his life for us all. Thanks for taking his place as a hero and getting him back. I hope you two have a great life in the future."

They smiled.

After the reception Sonic, Shadow and Maria headed home.

When they got there they put Maria down for bed and went to lay in bed to.

"Good night my mate." Shadow said smiling and gave him a kiss.

"Good night my mate." Sonic said and kissed him back.

Then they fell asleep.

10 years later

It had been ten years and Sonic and Shadow were at home with Maria, Tails, Cream, their son Matt, Knuckles, Rouge and they're daughter Sarah, Blaze, Silver and their twins Tom and Samantha and Amy.

It was Maria's tenth birthday and they were having a birthday party as usual.

"Happy birthday Maria!" everyone said.

"Thanks." she said.

While Cream cut the cake Sonic and Shadow were smiling.

"Seems like just yesterday we found out I was pregnant and now look at her. She's a ten year old already." Sonic said smiling.

"I know. We did a good job raising her. Don't you think?" Shadow said smiling.

Sonic nodded.

Then they watched her enjoy her birthday smiling.

Team Sonic was still saving the world, taking care of their kids and things like that.

They knew they were never going to be done being heroes or parents but didn't care. As long as they have each other they're fine.
