Chapter 8

-2 weeks later-
Anna's pov: I was woken up by some banging and laughing downstairs. I looked at the time and it was 10:00. So much for sleeping in.

I get up and put some clothes on then head downstairs. I see my dad with his other family. He sees me and smiles

A: "what are you doing here?"

A/D: "well I figured we could have a whole family breakfast"

A: "that's cool. But why are you here and not at your wife's house"

A/D: "like I said, family breakfast"

A: "yeah but we aren't family"

A/D: "honey don't be silly"

A: "dad, I haven't seen you in over 2 months. Plus when I do see you it's not even a full day"

A/D: "oh come on Anna"

A: "I'm gonna go"

I grab my keys and go get in my car. I text Katie. I tell her I'm coming over and she said alright. When I get there we do the dirty dance. As I'm getting dressed Katie says something.

K: "we haven't done this in forever. Any reason?"

A: "just need a distraction"

K: "wanna tell me about it"

A: "later" I get up and grab the rest of my stuff

K: "are you leaving"

A: "yeah"

K: "you don't wanna hang?"

A: "I got plans but this was cool. See ya"

Evas pov: I was woken up my Sab jumping on me. I grunted and sat up.

E: "why are you in my house?"

S: "because your mom let me in"

E: "really?"

S: "yeah?"

E: "hm alright"

S: "wanna go shopping?"

E: "yeah sure. Just let me get ready"

S: "alright"

I went and got dressed then did my makeup. Sab was driving. We stopped to grab some food then headed to the mall. We were looking around for a while when I heard laughing. I recognized that laugh. It was Anna's. I went over to Sab.

E: "can we go?"

S: "what why"

D: "omg hey guys!!"

S: "devvvvv"

Sab ran over and hugged dev. I stood there and watched. I looked and saw Anna standing near them. She looked at me and I looked away.

S: "guys we should all hangout"

A: "um idk"

D: "please Anna"

S: "yeah could y'all just grow up and stop being babies for once in your life"

E: "fine"

Sab and dev started to walk away and me and Anna followed behind them. We went into a store and I was looking at some stuff when Anna came over.

A: "hey"

E: "hi"

I started to walk away but she followed me.

E: "do you need something"

A: "nope"

I rolled my eyes and kept looking at stuff. She just kept staring at me. It was annoying me. I turned to her.
