Chapter 14

Anna's pov: it's had been about 15 minutes since I headed downstairs. I should prolly go and check on Eva. I headed upstairs but when I opened the door she wasn't in there I checked the bathroom. No sign of her. I tried calling her but she kept decking the calls. When I texted her she told me not to worry about her and she was fine. She thanked me again and then she stopped responding. Why is she so difficult?

Evas pov: when I got home I headed inside and my mom was sitting at the counter worried. When she saw me she jumped up and ran over to me.

E/M: "omg Eva I heard what happened. Are you ok?"

E: "yeah I'll be fine"

E/M: "honey you have a black eye and bruised ribs. What if they are broken? I'm taking you to the hospital for X-rays."

E: "mom I'm fine ok? I just wanna rest"

E/M: "alright. But just know that I have to bring you into school tmrw and they are gonna decide your punishment"

E: "yeah alright"

E/M: "before you go, who else was involved in the fight?"

E: "um Katie and an.."

I stopped. I did not just tell my mom that. She looked mad.

E/M: "Anna? Your still friends with her after everything?!"

E: "no mom. I mean she helped me clean up and finished the fight for me but no. I still hate her"

E/M: "every time you get involved with her something bad happens"

E: "it's not about her. I was pissed at Katie because this is all her fault. It's has nothing to do with Anna. Now I'm going to go rest. Please leave me alone"

I didn't say anything else to her. I head upstairs and lay down. I was so tired so I took a long nap. But I didn't end up waking up until the morning. My mom came barging in my room.

E: "mom?"

E/M: "get up we have to go to school"

E: "ugh alright"

I got up and took a shower. I didn't feel like dressing up so I put in some sweat pants and a oversized t-shirt. When I was getting my shirt I saw one of Anna's hoodies. I grabbed it and shoved it in my bag then headed downstairs.

When we got to school me and my mom headed inside. When we got to the office I saw Anna and her dad in there. Once she saw me she got up and came over to me.

A: "how are you feeling?"

E: "I'm fine Anna"

I then walked with my and waited for the principal. When he came out he called me and my mom in first. When we got in there he told us to take a seat and we did. After a long talk he decided that since not only did I start the fight but I got another student involved I would be suspended for a week. He told me that I would have iss for today but the rest of the week I would come in for pet of the day.

Anna's pov: when called Eva in I sat and waited with my dad. Once the door closed he turned and looked at me.

A/D: "trouble in paradise?"

A: "what?"

A/D: "why does Eva seem mad at you"

A: "we got into a big argument and she's still really mad about it"

A/D: "did you talk to her about it?"

A: "well I tried to but every time I tried to talk to her someone wouldn't let me"
