Oh Look, I Just Got Stabbed....again...*Sigh*

“Hey, Hitsuki? Why are you going to go and help if you do not believe that Sasuke will come back with us?” Lee asked. I sighed.

“Because I was once, somewhat, in his shoes. I didn’t want to be weak…but my reasons were different. I do not care for revenge. I owe Orochimaru for a lot, but I fell that I have long since repaid that. I know Sasuke wants power so that he can exact his revenge. Nothing will stop him… but, I will not let anyone who is special to me get killed because I decided to stay behind!” I yelled, speeding up with Lee at my heels.

We come up on Choji and Jiroubou on the ground. I could care less about Jiroubou, but I went straight to Choji. “Lee, go on ahead and keep going. Don’t worry about anyone who is hurt, that is my job!” I shouted as he kept going. I placed my hands on Choji’s chest and healed him a bit, giving him some of my chakra before shooting a flare for the medical team. I went straight onward until I came across Neji.

Kidoumaru was a distance away…and I was pretty sure that he was dead…yay! I landed beside Neji and Hijuya used her blood manipulation to stop the blood flow while I healed him, both of us sending him chakra as the largest wound healed. Shooting a flare into the air, I continued on my way and felt Kiba’s, or Lover Boy, chakra moving…he was alive…and fighting Sakon and Ukon…great. Up ahead Shikamaru was fighting Tayuya. But, I had to ignore both of those fights because I felt Kimimaro’s chakra. Well, that is just great! I sigh and shot my body that way.

I jump that way to see Lee fighting Kimimaro…while…drunk? What the hell did Tsunade give him? The Drunken Fist…I have heard stories… No, not really, I just thought I would make it sound cooler. I have heard of it…I was in a town when some restaurant had been destroyed before I came to the Leaf. Maybe it was Lee. At this second I was sweat-dropping while watching the battle of the drunken kid and bone-boy.

It was quiet interesting and I can give you no description because I was just…at a loss for words. Lee’s movements were not predictable in the least and even Kimimaro was shocked. I jumped in the battle when Lee was fixing to get stabbed…stopping his shot…with my stomach. I…I really don’t think that this was my best plan. I coughed up blood and Kimimaro’s eyes widened. We were still friends, even if on opposite teams.

“Hitsuki?!” he asked, pulling his arm out of my stomach. I nodded my head.

“Y…yeah…sorry that we aren’t…*cough cough*…on the same side but…I can’t let you hurt my friends…nor…*cough*…nor can I work for Orochi…Orochimaru…” I said. His expression darkened as he realized what I meant. He threw me at the trees. I was expecting pain, not sand. I opened my eyes through my coughing and saw Gaara.

“Oh…good. Now I can go…*cough cough cough*…after Sasuke…” I said through clenched teeth. Gaara glanced at me before letting me off on the other side of the trees. I looked back at Kimimaro. I knew that he wouldn’t make it through this fight…and so did he. I smiled sadly. “Goodbye old friend. I will only tell him what he needs to hear….I doubt…that it will stop him…though…”

Kimimaro nodded and let me go. He knew that I was not here to stop Sasuke; that I was only here to help…and to warn the idiotic boy of the path he was going down. I ran through the trees until I got to the fight between Sasuke and Naruto that I knew was inevitable. Sasuke was in the second state of the curse mark and Naruto was coated in the Nine-tail’s chakra. They were going at each other with the Chidori and Rasengan. That is what it was called. Sasuke and his white hair with hand like wings were flying at the slightly fox-shaped boy and vice versa.

I coughed quietly again. I couldn’t jump in here. ‘Hitsuki…let me help you…please?’ Hijuya asked. I shook my head at her, answering out loud. “No, you need to reserve your chakra in case Kaname acts up. It is possible with this injury. Neither one of us has enough chakra to do anything about it now…” I told her sadly. We both deserved death, and we both knew we did.
