I strutted into London, demanding the attention of everyone, citizens and tourists alike. As I walked, I pretended I was the main character in a movie, with Beyonces Run The World song playing in the background. My ego was at an all time high and already news had spread about my and Niall's 'juicy' breakup. Cameras flashed around me but for once I didn't care. I even flirted with the paparazzi, blowing kisses and winking and everything.
That was until I ran into some guy in red skinny jeans. I knew who it was without having to consider it.
"Andy. God, why do you guys keep showing up everywhere," I muttered under my breath. I turned around to scurry off in the other direction and act like I hadn't even see him.
"Hey Chris, say hi to the five assholes for me!" he called after me. I screeched to a stop, and turned again to look him in the eye.
"What did you say?"
"You heard me."
"Who the hell do you think you are? You're not even a part of the band! Maybe Niall is an ass, but the rest of them haven't done anything wrong! And I thought Liam was your friend! God Andy I don't know what's gotten into you!" I threw my hands up in the air to add a dramatic effect.
"Oh look little miss ex girlfriend is sticking up for her boys. Isn't that sweet? You know Niall cheated on you because you weren't enough for him. You weren't good enough!" Andy shouted. Why was he being so mean? Every word he said was like a bullet to my chest and I was having trouble retaliating.
"You're just jealous that you couldn't have me! Admit it Andy! You like me still and you don't know what to do about it! I broke up with Niall and guess what? I'm still not dating you! So just leave me alone!" I yelled back. We were attracting a small crowd and I was done.
"You're right," Andy said. But I was already halfway down the block. It was starting to rain and I realized I was back to where my story had begun. A horrible fight and a vicious breakup in the downpour. Being alone. There was something else though. Something that happened that day that changed my life forever. Thinking about those happy days made me smile and cry and I must've looked like a maniac standing there in the rain without an umbrella. I was suddenly happier then I had ever been in my entire life and I spread out my arms to soak it all in. I twirled in circles, watching the blurry world spin around me, when it stopped raining. Wait, I could still hear the rain hitting the sidewalk and roofs and such. There was a red umbrella over my head and I looked to see who the owner of it was. Harry stood in front of me, drenched. I was about to ask what he was doing here but did it really matter? I was too euphoric to care. I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.
"I love you." I said, smiling. Harry didn't question me, I think he just thought I had gone mad. He didn't say that he loved me back but that was perfectly okay. I hopped onto his back and he carried me over to my flat.
"I'm the luckiest girl alive!" I yelled. It was true. I was lucky to have dated Niall. I was lucky to be loved by Andy. I was lucky to be here in Harry's arms right now. I was just lucky in general.
"I think you need some sleep," Harry said, forcing me into bed.
"Only if you lay with me," I bargained. Harry didn't resist the offer and he climbed beneath the bedsheets, right beside me.
