It had been a week since their Buffalo concert and the discovery of Niall and Lacey between siblings. To be honest, I couldn't take much more of it. Lacey and Niall's new interest in each other was understandable at first but now it was just sickening. Niall and I had spoken for real in days. It was really bothering me. Niall and Lacey were inseparable. We were now in Pennsylvania and Andy had left to visit family. Danielle and Eleanor had stayed in New York City, claiming it to be their favorite place in the U.S. With the boys always prepping for concerts and my boyfriend spending time with Lacey, I was all alone.
Lacey and Niall were even more distant from everyone else, since Harry had just broken up with her. He told her that he liked her a lot but it was too uncomfortable for him to date the pretty much identical twin of his best friend. Lacey, of course, was crushed. She cried for awhile but instead of going to me for help, she went to Niall. How is a boy supposed to help a girl with girl problems? Especially a famous teenage boy who has been recently neglecting his own girlfriend.
"Hey Chris, what's wrong?" Harry asked ruffling my hair, joining me on the hotel balcony. Everyone else was asleep.
"Nothing," I muttered, taking a sip of my tea.
"Chris."
"What?!"
"Answer me."
I sighed.
"I'm lonely."
I didn't want to feel desperate. I was still dating Niall but it didn't feel like it.
"I can help you with that," Harry said quickly. I stared at him in shock.
"Harry I can't-," I started to say but his lips had met mine. I jerked back immediately.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, I couldn't help it, I'm sorry." Harry disappeared back into the hotel and I smiled I myself. The kiss was well meant, felt awkward, and was just what I needed.

"Hi Chris," Andy said over the phone.
"Uh hey."
"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my cousins house. Their having a little party."
"Well, I mean," I stuttered hesitantly, looking over at Niall and Lacey. They were huddled at the table, giggling at something stupid.
"You know what Andy, I'd love to."
I could almost hear him smile through the phone.
"Actually, I'm outside the hotel right now."
"What?" I exclaimed, getting the attention of the twins.
"Who's that?" I heard Niall say.
"I'm not ready though!" I scream whispered.
"I can wait." And he hung up.
I hurried into the bedroom and slipped into a little black dress and some heels I got in New York. I was sloppily throwing on makeup when Niall came up behind me.
"Where are you going?" He sounded mad. That only made me mad. He had no right to question me. I hadn't seen him in days and I hadn't asked him where he was.
"A family party," I said nonchalantly. Technically I wasn't lying but it felt so wrong to lie to Niall. Then he suddenly closed the gap between us and hugged me.
"Have fun," he said, grasping my shoulders and smiling with his blue eyes that I fell in love with.
I couldn't help but feel guilty. Andy was only a friend right?
-----
Andy's little party was in no way little. The only thing little was the amount of clothing that the girls were wearing an even some boys.
"I come from a family of legendary partiers," Andy explained triumphantly as he pulled up in front. Andy put his arm around me and handed me a beer. I felt someone grab my butt but maybe I was just paranoid. Parties weren't my specialty. Especially ones like these. I drank the entire beer in a matter of a few minutes and after a few more I started to feel better. I danced alone at first but then grabbed Andy to join me. His hands were on my waist, his hips grinding into mine. Somebody popped a bottle of champagne, shooting bubbles all over me and Andy. I could feel Andy's chest beneath his thin shirt and his hair was dripping wet from the champagne and I couldn't help but be attracted. This is so wrong, I told myself, don't do it. The alcohol was beginning to kick in and I couldn't control myself. I cupped Andy's face in my hands and pressed my lips onto his. I felt his tongue slip into my mouth and my mind was at battle.
One part of me was screaming, Chris! You have Niall! He's the perfect guy! He's sweet and funny and adorable! The other part was yelling just as loud, Look! You wouldn't be here if you knew you were missing something! Andy is the exact opposite of you but isn't it obvious that you're meant to be together? It was all to crazy to think about at the same time and I was just now noticing that everyone was cheering for us. Andy, his lips still on mine, carried me off to somewhere more quiet. He laid down, me on top of him. His hands found my dress zipper and I found his belt buckle but that's when I had to stop. Andy laughed and tried to pull me back in, until he saw that I was crying.
"Chris, you don't have to if you don't want to," he said sternly.
"I do want to. Badly," I sobbed, hugging him so he knew that I meant it. "But I have Niall and I can't do this to him."
"Let me ask you, how much have you seen him since he discovered Lacey?"
"Not much."
"Okay, how about this. Has he ever treated you like this?"
"No but is this how I'm supposed to be treated? Get drunk all the time and fall into bed with guys?"
"No not that. This." Without wasting any time, Andy kissed me passionately. His arms wrapped around me and he fell back onto the soft sheets, still holding me. It was unlike anything I had ever felt before. It felt like sun rays beaming down on your face in the spring, like a butterfly landing softly on your skin, like cool iced tea in the middle of summer. Nothing I was thinking was making very much sense anymore.
Andy respected my wishes and stopped at the kiss, though I did lay with him for the rest of the night. Before I was able to fall asleep, Andy decided to put everything on the table.
"I love you," he said. It hung in the air for a moment and all you could hear was our breathing. I wanted to say it back. It almost slipped out, but I bit my tongue so hard that I could taste my own metallicy blood. Just as they had dried, I once again felt the hot silent tears running down my cheeks.
