Now it was Niall's turn to show me something special of his. And it had to be done that night, as we were all heading out to Buffalo the next morning for their first concert. Niall led me into the messy bedroom that he and Josh shared and opened a large leather case.

"This is my guitar." This wasn't the guitar he used at concerts. It wasn't the one used in countless photoshoots. This was different. It looked homier, worn from excessive use.

"I know its not much. It was a gift from my parents when I was just three. Supposedly it's a family heirloom, but I doubt it."

"No no, it's beautiful. May I?" He handed the instrument over to me. I admired it's hand made qualities, the makers close attention for details. I took a pick from the case and strummed it. The sound was like it came from heaven.

"Lovely isn't it." Niall grinned. As I looked to him, I dropped the pick into the hole in the base.

"I'm sorry, sorry. I'll get it out." I should've just shaken it, but instead I reached a my slender hand into the instrument and felt around. I found the pick, but I found something else too. The object was taped to the side of the wood where it wasn't visible at any angle. It was smooth and glossy to the touch. I chipped away the tape and pulled the picture out. Niall looked curious. Before I peered at it, I asked if Niall had ever put something in the guitar or had seen his parents do anything to it.

"No," he admitted.

"So this is something your parents wanted to keep a secret, at least until you were ready. Are you sure you want to look?" Niall was bursting with curiousity and he nearly snatched it away from me. I unwrapped my hand and we both stared at the picture.

"That's my mum," he said. In the photo, his mother was in a hospital gown and she was carrying two babies. Two almost identical babies, except one was dressed in pink, the other blue. Nialls mouth was agape and so was mine. We quickly flipped it over, revealing a short letter.

"Niall if you ever read this, we want you to know, you have a twin sister. At the time of your birth, we were struggling and only could afford one of you. Your sister was adopted straight away and was taken to London. We want you to find her and reunite her with her real family. The only thing we know for sure is the name they gave her....."

"Lacey," Niall and I read the last word in synch. He had tears in his eyes.

"I have a sister. And I don't even know where she is."

"Niall, look at me. We know exactly where she is. She's napping on the couch in the living room." Niall suddenly remembered everyone was saying how he and Lacey looked the same.

"Did you forget that we were traveling with a girl named Lacey?" I asked him. He was out the door and shaking Lacey awake. Niall didn't even wait for her eyes to open.

"Sister!" he cried over and over again. "Sister sister. My dear long lost sister." All the roommates stopped what they were doing.

"What's going on?" I took them aside and told them everything as Niall explained it to Lacey. Her hands were covering her mouth, tears streaming from her eyes. Lacey threw her arms around Niall.

"Brother. I have a brother." I showed the entire group the picture. Niall and Lacey didn't let go of each other. I wouldn't have either if I had discovered the existence of an unknown sibling.

"And the coincidence that my girlfriend and my sister are childhood friends." Niall was still crying from shock and excitement and a rush of unconditional love for his new sister.

"Are we going to tell anyone?" Liam questioned. It was a smart question.

"How about we just wait for the fans or the press to figure it out. That shouldn't take long. They practically stalk you anyways. Then all we have to do is confirm the rumors," I suggested. They all nodded in agreement. .

"Watch, soon their gonna be saying me and Chris are twins," Harry mumbled under his breath.

"Hey you never know."

I got it into my head that this wasn't going to be your ordinary tour.
