The Threat

It's been two months since Ultron pulled her away from the Avengers. Ebony and Obsidian spent that time wiping her resistance and molding her to follow their orders. She endured hours of electrotherapy and processes of brainwashing her. Luna eventually succumbed to the torture. Before any of them knew it, she was on their side and ready to lead them to whatever they wanted. While she was being tortured, Thanos had gained eyes on another he was wanting to take prisoner. 

"Ahhh, Luna. Pleasure. Mind fetching someone with me?" Thanos smirked. 

"Yes sir." luna grinned. 

"Great." Thanos lead her onto a ship. 

They made the journey from Earth to a planet known as Knowhere. Thanos had set up a trap to grab his daughter, Gamora. Luna was merely there to ensure that he got what he wanted. Thanos explained that she was to handle the man known as Quill should he try to fight and protect her. Luna stood in place, awaiting their arrival. The sound of two voices unfamiliar to her. Her eyes shifted to Thanos who nodded, a grin crossing his lips. Before Luna can do anything, Thanos revealed himself to the people approaching. She listened as a fight ensued between the female and Thanos. Luna peered from behind a broken pillar watching as Thanos feigned losing to his beloved daughter Gamora.

"Why you...daughter...?" Thanos gurgled as he collapsed.

Gamora had dropped her weapon and began sobbing as Quill pipped up, "Well that was quick."

Another began to clap, yelling "Magnificent, magnificent, magnificent!"

The real Thanos than spoke, "Was that sadness I sensed in you, daughter? In my heart I knew you still cared."

As Thanos spoke the false reality began to disappear from before everyone's eyes, revealing the burning reality. "But one can never know for sure. Reality is often disappointing. That is, was. Now," Thanos raised the gauntlet on his hand, admiring the few stones he had, "reality can be whatever I want."

"You knew I'd come." Gamora spoke.

"I counted on it." Thanos grinned. "There is something we need to discuss, little one."

Gamora grunted, grabbing for her weapon to only drop it once Thanos grasped her by the back of her kneck, lifting her up, "AHHH!"

"THANOS!" Another voice cried out, causing Luna to now reveal herself.

A male who appeared to have bluish skin began advancing on Thanos. Luna threw herself between them, throwing him back swiftly. As she did, Thanos raised his gauntlet again, closing his fist and aiming at the man. Luna stepped aside and watched as a red light shot from his fist and the man turned to blocks, falling to the floor. He quickly aimed at a female with antennas on her forehead, turning her into a ribbon. 

"Let her go, grimace!" Quill spoke, aiming his weapon at Thanos as he revealed himself. "I told you to go right."

Luna stepped between Quill and Thanos as Gamora spoke, "Now? Really?"

"You let her go!" Quill spoke.

"Ahhh, the boyfriend." Thanos taunted.

"I like to think of myself as a Titan killing, long term booty call. Let her go or I'm going to blow that nut sack of a chin right off your face."

"Not him." Gamora begged. Luna saw the pain in Quills eyes, "You promised."

"Oh daughter, you expect too much from him." He smirked, "She's asked, hasn't she?" Quill lowered his gun over Lunas shoulder, aimed at Gamora, "Hmm.. DO IT!" 

Thanos pushed Gamora closer to Lunas back, getting Quills gun closer to her face as Quill whispered to Gamora, "I told you to go right." 

"I love you more than anything." Gamora panted, fighting her tears.

"I love you too.." Quill whispered back.

It took him a moment to pull the trigger, but when he did he bubbles appeared. Luna chuckled as his gun turned to bubbles and Thanos spoke, "I like him."

Thanos warped the three away, leaving Quill to deal with the aftermath.

As the three returned to the undisclosed base, Luna led Gamora to see a girl Gamora knew as her sister, Nebula. She heard Gamora gasp as the realization hit. Luna stopped, turning to look to Thanos who nodded. Luna stepped aside, letting the two speak. Thanos explained that he simply wanted the Soul stone. She listened as Gamora refused and Thanos made Nebula scream in pain. Gamora finally gave in, agreeing to give Thanos what he wanted. As they prepped to leave to the stone, Thanos approached Luna. 

"Kill Nebula if I return without the stone."

"Understood." Luna nodded.

"Until then, feel free to rest. You've done well child." 

And with that, Thanos and Gamora were gone. As Luna went to relax she passed Obsidian and Ebony Maw. They were huddled together discussing something. Luna narrowed her eyes as they looked her way. She was curious, but she brushed them off and made her way to a room that was set up like a gym. She began to use the punching bag, keeping herself distracted to pass the time.

Soon Thanos had returned, without Gamora, and with the Soul Stone. Before either of them could say anything a crash was heard. Luna nodded to Thanos and made her way to where the sound came from. There was yelling and lots of it. She began to charge to the sounds, ready to fight. Once she entered the room, she hesitated, taking in the destruction before her. Part of the building had been destroyed, some of the army Thanos had had been hurt or crushed under the fallen debris. Her eyes scanned the room, landing upon Obsidian, Ebony, and Ultron. They were fighting against two men. Luna narrowed her eyes, realizing who was before her as she watched the two rip Ultron apart and using the pieces to hurl at Obsidian and Ebony.

"Well, if it isn't the Captain and the Soldier." Luna taunted the men. "I see you've come to play." 

"Luna?" The one known as the Captain America asked. 

"The one and only." She grinned. "Shall we dance?" She launched herself at him, punching him in the face and sending him flying. 

"Luna, stop! We're your friends." Winter Soldier explained.

"Right. Cause you've been beside me this whole time." She laughed.

"We don't want to hurt you." Captain spoke, standing up and rubbing his jaw.

"I'd like to see that."

The three began to fight, Luna holding her own against the two. While she was distracted with them, she left her back open to the others that had come with them. Luna figured Ebony and Obsidian had them handled. As she threw a punch at Bucky, a blow landed on her back, sending her flying. She cried out as she slammed into a wall that proceeded to crumble on her, knocking her out. The Avengers grabbed her up quickly and retreated.
