" Wait, Mikaela san! Are you sure about this? That's a rash decision you are making, don't you think so?" The lilac haired girl tries to reason with the blonde, but Mikaela is still with his decision.
People that suffer because of depression thinks differently, their vision towards the world isn't the same as they used to think. And Mikaela is not an exception. He couldn't think of a solution, and in the end, he decided to run away.
"Yes, but i don't think i can go through this all my life. I managed to shut Kureto up, but there is more people like him. Monsters disguising as humans. I can't handle them." He says, sighing. Shinoa stares at him with a look he couldn't quite understand.
"Mikaela san... You never tried. You stopped Kureto, so why not just fight the others off like you did to him? Don't lose hope, you are not alone Mikaela san. Don't do this to us. And most importantly, don't do this to Yuu san." Shinoa says, trying to persuade him into reconsider his life decision.
"You don't understand. I'm tired. I don't even want to try nor experience it again." Mikaela rubs his temple and Shinoa; well, you can say that she lose her cool.
"So you are going to run again, Mikaela?" The blonde's body petrifies at her words. " You are good at running, we know that. You are our school athlete after all. But you're running away from your life issue too, Mikaela?"
" I'm not running away from my life issue, i'm ending it." He retorts harshly. " Liar." Shinoa deadpans. Mikaela shakes his head. "Okay then, suit yourself. I'm running away. I'm a fucking coward. I'm hopeless. Then so be it! You don't understand, Shinoa. You are not the one waking up every morning hoping that you didn't breathe anymore." The blonde tries to contains his anger, face burning red.
"Then what about Yuu san? You are going to abandon him, someone you called family?" She uses her last point to convince Mikaela. The raven is truly and important person to the blonde as they grew up together, sharing everything with each other. They are like each others half. Perhaps, it could make Mikaela changes his mind.
Or maybe not.
"That's why i asked you to look after him for me. It may be hard for him at first, but he'll manage." Mikaela explains.
Shinoa stares at him with disbelieve. " So he will manage but you can't for him?" She wants to hit the boy on his head hard. Maybe that will knock some sense into him. But she restrains herself from doing so.
"You don't know anything. Just do as i said, please. Let me rest in peace at least." Mikaela pleads, and Shinoa raise her hands, surrendering. "Suit yourself, Mikaela. I'm done talking to you." She gets up and walks away, leaving Mikaela alone in the library with his books and revision notes.
