There's nothing that can change his mind. He will end his own life, and no one is going to stop him from doing so. Not even his beloved Yuuchan. But before doing that, there is something he must do. And that's the reason why he's in the school backyard garden, waiting for a certain someone.
"Mika? Why do you wish to talk to me here?" That certain someone arrives, none other than Yuuichiro himself.
"I have to tell you something." Mikaela says, hopping closer to the raven. He seems happy, and Yuuichiro feels relieved.
"What is it?" The raven asks. Mikaela takes a deep breath before exhaling again.
"Yuuchan, i like you."
He wants to confess.
Yuuichiro will feel disgusted by him, or maybe even hates him. But that's the point. He don't want to go knowing someone is still yearning for his return. This way, Yuuichiro would survive without him.
And he will lose his reason to live.
Yuu feels his body stiffen by the blonde's confession. He has never thought that it was his fault all along. All the bullying and pain Mikaela has gone through was all because of him.
If Mikaela doesn't like a guy, none of this would happen. He secretly hates Mikaela's crush while being completely oblivious of who's the person the blonde likes. It's not just that. He's jealous.
He thought someone stole Mikaela away from him.
The truth is, He already liked the blonde since forever.
"Mika, I... I'm sorry." He lets out, eyes never leaving the blonde head in front of him. Mikaela beams at him.
"No, thank you. I can finally be free. I love you, Yuuchan." Mikaela steps forward, his hands holding the raven's face. He leans in, their lips making contact with each other. The blonde's chest is burning from the spark he feels, and the raven's stomach is doing backflips, heart beating incredibly fast. Mikaela pulls away and runs, leaving Yuu stunned on the ground he stands.
Warm. The voice in Yuu's head decides. Little did he knows, that will be the last warmth he'll receive by the blonde head.
Deciding to leave Mika alone for the time being, he heads to his locker, wanting to change his shoes. A letter falls out, and he opens it.
A poem.
And he immediately knows who sends it. Upon reading the poem, he sprints home.
There are cuts decorating my wrist
Some are old
And some are new
I barely sleep
There are dark circles under my eyes
and I sway lightly as i walk
Maybe about to pass out
who knows.
My world is shattering down,
Crumbling on the floor
I don't belong here.
My one and only light,
A candle
Keeps me company,
Eliminating my endless abyss of loneliness.
But i'm about to blow it out
And by then,
I can finally set myself
Free
