Take 15

"How about we make a deal?" The voice booms through the white void, Mikaela standing alone in the middle of it. He doesn't answer.

  "The only thing you want is your memory, right? We'll give you that." The voice says. Mikaela stares into nothing, face as cold as ever. " What do you want in return?" The blonde dares to ask.

   The voice chuckles. "You really are smart, my angel. It would be a waste to banish you because of such a small mistake."

   Mikaela silently clenches his jaw, face still straight. "What is it that you want for an exchange?" He asks again.

  "Your feeling towards that human when you are still alive." The voice finally replies. The angel's hand turns into a fist, shaking lightly because of anger.

   "You should have done that before i even met him again." He mutters, eyes watering. Why is he sad? Yes, they call it a 'deal'. But it is more like an exchange he can not refuse. An order. And the only reason why he's still standing there is to receive and carry his order so that he can pay for his sin. He's obligated to obey.

   "And where is the fun in that?" His body petrifies hearing the voice's answer. His head snaps upwards. " What...?" The word unconsciously rolls off his tongue.

   "You heard me, Mikaela. We are going to take your feeling towards Yuuichiro in exchange of your past memory." The voice says, amusement obvious in its tone. "And there is nothing you can do about it." The voice finishes.

  Mikaela let his tears flow freely from his sapphire eyes. "We are not your puppet." He lets out, his voice shaking. The voice chuckles again. "But you are." The voice says. "We own you. I hope you realize this, my angel. Now, shall we begin?"

Mikaela close his eyes.

It will just take a second, and everything will be over. He convinces himself.

But it never manages to stop the tears flowing from his closed eyes.
