I woke up with the bright sunlight shining on my face. I look over to see no one in bed beside me. 

"hmm?" 

I get up and put some shorts on with one of my boyfriend, Kit Walker's, old shirts on. I stretch my arms and legs before walking out of our bedroom. 

I look into the kitchen to see Kit standing at the stove, frying something in a pan. I walk up to him quietly and put my hands on his shoulders. 

"AHH!" he screams dropping the wooden spoon he was using to stir his eggs. 

I laugh to myself and smile at him. 

"Good morning love!" I say hugging him. 

He hugs me back and sighs. 

"You scared me! But good morning baby," he said laughing. 

"Whatchu cookin?!" I sai hopping onto the counter and sitting down. 

"Just some eggs and toast," he says sliding the finished eggs into a bowl. 

I smiled and walked over to the pantry. 

"You know what this breakfast needs?" I said grabbing out the pancake mix (IDK if they had that back then so let's pretend they did)

Kit's eyes widened and he grinned. 

"You're right!" he said taking out a mixing bowl and a spoon. 

I giggle and pour some of the mix into the big bowl. Kit flicks some of the powder mix at me. 

"Heyyy!" I said pouting. 

He laughed and started to pour in water. 

After mixing the water with the powder, we got out a fresh pan and buttered it up. It smelt like heaven. 

I gently poured some of the mix into the pan. It sizzled as soon as the mixture hit the bottom of the pan. Sending a cakie smell into the air. 

"Mmmm," we both said in unison. 

After we cooked a couple of pancakes we sat down at the table with our plates. 

"Well, that was fun!" Kit said brushing powder mix off of my face. 

"Yeah, it was haha," I say laughing and smiling at him. 

After eating I pick up the dishes and start cleaning. Kit walks up behind me while I'm doing the dishes. He wraps his hands around my waist and rests his chin in the crook of my neck. 

"I love you (y/n)," he whispered into my ear.

"I love you too,"
