Sorry this is so late!! I was busy but I am finally publishing this
THANK YOU Jemmasmith1111 for requesting💖

I walked down the hall and into my bedroom.
I had been living at the Hotel Cortez for about two weeks now, and I knew almost every ghost and vampire that lived here. All except one. James Patrick March. We met once when I first arrived but, I never saw him again after that.

I walked into my room and set my groceries down on the coffee tabel. I slip off my shoes and sitt on my bed. I looked at my pillow and see a letter sitting in the center.
I picked it up and opened it.

It was an invitation, to devil's night? I wasnt sure what that was or what I should do there but, signed at the bottem of the page was the name 'James Patrick March' so I knew it was important.

It was already getting late and I decided to go down to the lounge and ask Liz for a dress.

As I made my way down to the bar, I saw a man that looked exactly like Jeffrey Dahmer walk past me. I stared at him as he calmly walked into the elevator.

I got to the bar and saw Liz standing there reading a book.

"Hey Liz..." I said sitting down.

"Oh! Hey honey!" She said looking at the letter in my hand.

She stared at me and her face got pale.

"What do you got there?" She asked taking the letter from my hand and reading it.

"I found it on my pillow..." I said confused.

Liz sighed

"You were invited to devil's night. It's a night for the dead most famous serial killers... and James is the one that runs it." She said handing me back the letter.

I just stared at her. My face turning a greenish pale.

"Do I go?" I asked hesitantly

"Well Ofcourse! You cant let an invitation like that down!" She said comming arround to stand beside me.

"Can you help me pick out a dress?" I asked gripping the letter tighter.

She smiled and winked.

"Yes. Come with me."

~Time Skip~

Liz had given me a dark green dress with black gloves. It was very fancy, not something that I would usually where.

I fixed my hair and put light makeup on then headed across the hall for room 64.

I took a deep breath and knocked.

The door flung open and Ms.Evers was standing there smiling.

"Oh good! You got the letter I left for you. Come in. Everyone has been expecting you." She said as I walked in and looked around.

There was a record playing and what looked like John Gacy and Richard Ramirez dancing in the middle of the room.

There was a tabel, with other killers including James sitting down.

I looked at James and he stood up and smirked

He picked up a glass and a spoon banging them against eachother.

"Everyone! Our guest of honor has arrived." He said not taking his eyes off me.

Everyone in the room looked towards me. And clapped.

Ms.Evers pushed me towards an empty chair next to James.
I sat down and so did everyone else.

James took my hand and kissed it.

"Nice to see you again my dear (y/n)." He said smiling.

I smiled back and nodded.

I was kind of scared, but at the same time amazed.

We ate and we talked, about things like killing, to my obsession with the killers. We talked about everything.

"Well. Before you all leave, I do think it is time for dessert." James said grinning.

His eyes turned dark, it was seductive but terrifying.

Everyone cheered.

Just then, Sally brought out a man with a bag over his head.

James and everyone else stood up.
He lifted the bag off of the mans head.
I screamed.

It was my ex. The one that had beaten me. The reason I am living here instead of with him.

I coverd my mouth as tears of anger and disgust ran down my cheeks.

James looked at me.

"Darling. Don't worrie. He wont hurt you." He said walking over to me and huging me.

He let go and handed me a dagger.

"Here... I'll even let you have the first go." He said grinning again and stepping out of my way.

I stopped crying and stared at the dagger in my hand. The thought of the cold silver blade running through my ex's heart made my blood boil.

I walked over to him slowly. He was begging for mercy through his gag.
I looked into his eyes and caressed his cheek with my free hand.

"I hate you..." I said before stabbing him in the heart. Blood gushed out of his wound and onto me and the floor.

My heart was racing. I yanked the dagger out and handed it to James. I was breathing heavy and my eyes were wide open.

The rest of the killers had there go at him. Including James.

As they killed the man, I sat there. And watched. Taking in everything.

I had never killed anyone before now.

When everyone was done and gone. I stood up and brushed myself off.

"Liz is going to be upset that I ruined her dress." I said looking at James and smiling.

He walked up to me and placed a hand on my waist.

"Ms.Evers will take care of it dear, don't worrie your pretty little head about anything." He said leaning in close to me.

I shut my eyes and waited for his lips but all I felt was cold...

I opened my eyes to see an empty, dark room. No lights, no tabel, no James.
I thought I was going crazy. But realized that I still had the dress on...
