He tried forgetting her, but somehow she still crept into his thoughts.

It wasn't that he liked her — he didn't know her enough — but there was something about her that he found intriguing.

The girl was a puzzle he couldn't understand, a riddle he couldn't answer. He never really was good at riddles though.

He was able to push her out of his thoughts easily but the time he and his groupmates went out to eat lunch in the city, she was there. And so the mystery bothered him once again.

The new idol group, iKON, decided to have lunch at this restaurant. It wasn't too fancy a place but it wasn't a crappy old eatery either.

Jinhwan sat at the end of the table with Junhoe to his right and Jiwon right across from him. They chatted as they read the menus that were handed to them.

"Are you ready to order?" a waitress asked a few minutes later. She stood on the other end of the table so Jinhwan figured he still had time to decide. He continued scanning the list though he already had somthing in mind.

The boys nodded and started reciting their orders as the girl wrote them all down. It was Jinhwan's turn and when he looked up at the waitress he saw it was her.

Her hair was up in a ponytail but he recognized her face. Black ink peeked out from the sleeve of the long-sleeved blouse she wore and he wondered why she had chosen to wear sleeves here and not at the park. Most likely it was to not put off customers.

She froze for a second, as if in a trance. She had gone slightly pale as if she'd seen a ghost or worse.

"Uh, just some kimbap," he muttered and she seemed to snap out of her daze.

"Anything else?" she asked as she jotted it down on her notes. He shook his head and handed her the menu. She took it almost hesitantly then proceeded to take Jiwon's and Junhoe's orders.

She left and Jinhwan could help but let his eyes follow her steps before she disappeared into the kitchen. He noticed the black ink on the back of her neck. They were just curved lines from what he could see but he thought the design was intricate.

She didn't come back. The one to bring them their orders was a girl who resembled her but looked younger and, unlike the other girl, her pale arms weren't covered in ink.

She didn't come out from the kitchen again. He would be lying if he'd said he didn't watch the door to see if she would come out.

Call him a creep or whatever, but he would blame it on his curiosity.
