She was sitting under the tree at the park again.

Jinhwan had stopped by the restaurant again and checked if she was there but she wasn't, not even up in her room or on the fire escape.

"I went to your place again," he muttered to her.

She let out a sigh. "I told you not to go back there."

Jinhwan frowned, asking a question he was sure she was tired of hearing already. "Why not?"

"Aish. You ask so many questions. Pabo." She shook her head, about to put on her headphones when he spoke again.

"Can I ask what happened?"

She paused. "What?"

He watched her closely. "Why you were crying the other day?"

She didn't answer.

"You can tell me you know. I might be able to help you," he whispered. "You don't need to keep the burden to yourself."

She shook her head. "No. Just go away pabo."

"Why?" He was getting tired of her saying that. He wasn't going anywhere and he was determined to keep being her friend.

"I just, I don't want to see you again."

But those words changed his mind. He asked for the last time, "What did I do?"

She didn't do anything but get up and walk away.
