She didn't mind him as they sat under the tree.

Jinhwan should have been used to this, how she barely spoke to him. He was the one to start the conversations and she would have an input.

This time was different somehow.

He knew her to be a girl of few words, her comments often being witty or sometimes rude. The Eun Mi with him now was different.

She barely paid him any attention. Usually she would ignore him, distracting herself with those headphones of hers, but she always had an aura around her. It was like she could care less about her surroundings. She wouldn't mind if he just up and left or if he would tap her shoulder or something. She'd be too lost in her music that nothing mattered.

But he noticed something different. The way she tapped her fingertips on her leg, fiddled with the chord of the headphones. She tried to hide it but Jinhwan could sense something was wrong.

"You look nervous," he mentioned.

She shot him an irritated look. "Mind your own business, pabo."

Jinhwan frowned. "I thought I told you not to call me that."

"Well, we don't always get what we want in life, Kim Jinhwan."

"Eun Mi..."

"Just go if you have no business here. You're irritating."
