"I don't believe you."

"But it's true," Jinhwan tried to convince her. "We're called iKON. We were on Mix&Match and before that I was in Team B with the others on Who Is Next? except we didn't win there."

"I don't watch TV," she said with a shrug. "Therefore you have no proof."

"How about I sing a song? Will you believe me then?"

"That depends. Can you sing?"

"I can."

"Prove it," she ordered.

He shrugged and searched his brain for a song to sing. Finally he decided and he sang.

He was looking at her until he finished, watching her expression carefully. Eun Mi's expression was blank and Jinhwan couldn't figure out what she was thinking.

Finally, she spoke.

"You sound like a dying cat."

Jinhwan's eyes widened and he felt speechless. "I do not!" he protested. "Aish, you're a liar." Was this girl serious? "Do cats even make sounds when they die?" he added.

She laughed and he forgot his shock at her reaction. "I'm kidding," she said, "Your singing is good, actually."

He smiled. "Thank you," he said. "Does this mean we gained a new fan?"

She snorted. "You can sing, but it doesn't mean I like your group."

He frowned. "What groups do you like then?"

"You might not know them. They're not Korean."

"I can search them later. So, what are the groups you like?"

She looked at him skeptically. "Do you know Greenday?"

"I do," he said with a nod. "They have good songs."

She responded with a nod. "I love them. And also other bands like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco. Bring Me The Horizon, especially."

Jinhwan smiled, liking that she was sharing something with him.

"What's your group's name again?" she asked after a while.

He grinned. "Just look up iKON on YouTube. You'll definitely fnd more of our songs there."

"Yah, who said I wanted to search your group? I was just curious."

"Okay, whatever you say."

She shook her head as she slipped on her headphones and tuned him out once again.
