Episode 6: Moving On

      The following month, Miss Chioma introduced me to multi billionaires which I do have affair with and get paid after satisfying them.
Sleeping with them was no more a problem in my life, I just got used to the act but though I do feel regret and hatred for myself. Each night with them, I do get fat amount of money from the men.

      One year later, I became an established Runz babe, I packed out of Miss Chioma's house after buying my own house but a bungalow compared to Miss Chioma's house which was a storey building.
       I turned 21 years in my new house so it wasn't a crime to buy my own car which was Rangerover Jeep. I took full responsibility of Anita's education. Each time she calls to complain about money, I don't hesitate to send the money to her and a huge amount after all she is my sister. I rarely really ask about her school all I was good at is giving money.
     In Anita's 200 level she came back for holiday, I picked her up in the park back to house. As I was driving home, I admired the fine girl she was turning into recently. She was looking so chubby and stunning beautiful.
" You are welcome to my humble abode and now officially our house " I said as we entered the house
"Sister who dash you house? " she jokefully said it with so much doubt while turning her eyes round the house
" Sit down first and stop scanning my house with your eyes " I said
"Sister wait o. First you drove me here with the Jeep you claim to be yours and now you are saying this big house is yours. Sister please stop all this expensive joke " Anita said sitting down
"My wonderful, smart, eloquent, beautiful kid sister, let me explain to you ehhh just stay calm. I know you are doubting me but everything you see here are all my belongings. I started a business last year so have been saving, Its the savings that I am using for all these things you are seeing " I lied just to help her curiosity
"That's splendid, so Sister where are you working? " she asked
"You will get to know with time. For now go and take a shower " I changed the topic
"Anyway I hope there is food in this house because am famished "
"Yeah just go and shower. Welcome once again Ani love "
"Thank you Sister. Please take me to my room because this house is too big before I loss " she teased
I took her to the room opposite my own. I left her behind  to undress and shower.
She came to the dinning and joined me in eating lunch.
"I forgot to ask. How was your trip? " I asked
"Hectic. The gallops and the dust on the way was really disturbing. Next time I wish to travel on plane. " she wished
"Sure you will definitely do that, I promise to make it happen " I assured her and she was surprised
"Wow that will be nice. You are the best sister in the world "
"Don't mention. Let's eat before it get cool. " I said
We started eating in silence but Anita broke the silence
"What of Aunty Chioma, I haven't heard from her and you neither said anything about her since I came back "
I almost choked because of her question that was uncalled for. I cleared my throat.
"She is fine and she lives in the third  street by the left down the road" I said
"That's good. Does she know that you are staying here? " she asked
"Yes. She has been visiting so you have to do same and make sure you keep your leg tightly close. " I said
"Why should I keep my leg tight and what for? " she asked
"Ani you are so inquisitive, please don't ask me any question again. Let's eat this food in peace " I said to avoid any more conversation
"But ________"
"No but Ani just eat your food, there are things you shouldn't be told because it could be to your detriment so know by yourself that is when you can tell that you are matured " I said and winked at her. We finished our food in silent and I knew Ani was still curious about what I said but I wasn't in the mood to explain anything to her at the moment.
That night, after Anita had gone to bed I sneaked out of the house without telling her because I had an appointment with a multi millionaire in a hotel. After servicing the man, I was paid handsomely.
I returned back home early in the morning the following day, I tiptoed into the house just not to wake Anita up.
"Sister Good morning " Anita greeted behind the door and my heart skipped a bit
"How long have you been standing there? " I asked with a frightened voice
"Long enough that you could not observe. Why did you remove your shoes and tiptoe? " she asked looking so sarcastic.
"I didn't want to wake you up from your wonderful night rest " I played along
"Oh really?  I heard when you left yesternight. So where did you go to? " she asked
"I went to work " I answered
"At night? " she asked
"Yes am on night shift " I lied
"OK no problem. Good morning to you once again Sister. I hope work was not stressful? " she asked
"Good morning to you. Work was fine " I answered and walked away to avoid more questions from her and I knew she will definitely suspect something
I got into my room feeling so awkward and defeated. It wasn't my business if she was smelling a rat. I pledge allegiance to sponsor her through school. So I was really doing this for her sake.

Anita stayed with me at home for one year due to the ASUU strike that began during the two weeks of their break, she used this holiday to observe me without altering a word about my business or my life but I know she was definitely going to do that. 
One Evening I took Anita for shopping, I bought her fine bags, clothes, shoes but she wasn't smiling at all, I was beginning to wonder what I might have done to her, but I ignored her mood. By the time we got home she decided to explode like fire outbreak.
"Sister I am feeling strange about your source of income. Its been one year since I stayed in this house and I don't know where you are getting your money. All I know is that you are working in an 'unknown organization ' which you only work at night and its not every day at that. So tell me where are you working? "She dropped the shopping bag on the floor with little annoyance.
"Calm down Ani "
"Sister don't ever tell me to calm down. Am not 12years any longer. Remember am your kid sister for cry out loud. Have grown up. So am waiting for the answer to my question "
"Is it necessary that I must tell you? "
"Really?" She asked sarcastically and picked up the flower vase
"Drop that please " I pleaded  but before I finished she smashed it on the floor
"Who knows whether you are into blood money or you are into Robbery. You are not even my elder sister any longer. You have turned into something else " she said with all manner of insolent
"You have anger issues Anita "
" whatever. You that doesn't have answer me " she said and I kept mute
"Heaven knows that if you don't talk I will smash your television no the floor too. Are you ready to talk? " she asked with all manner of authority as if she is my boss.
"Since you insist. I am a Runz babe. Are you satisfied? "
"Runz babe in what way?  Yahoo Yahoo or Ashawo? " she asked
"Not yahoo yahoo, it is not Ashawo either  but Runz "
"What kind of service do you render? "She asked and I cleared my throat while trying to gather momentum. I know she is enraged
"Sleeping with men to get money " I said with a low voice
"I see " she said trying to calm down
"So you mean this is what you have been doing all the time? " she asked with a low voice
"Yes because there was no other option. I got into this business because of us so that we can survive"
"Was that the only job to be done here in Port Harcourt? " she asked
"Miss Chioma forced me into it and I had no other option than to succumb to it just to see you through school and take care of us. That is why I was trying to stop you from visiting her when you came back "
"Wow really?  Sister you disgust me "
"Ani is that what you can say? "
"Yes. You even detest me. Of all the job you choose Ashawo work. " she said and walked close to me
"Are you blaming me? " I asked
"Why not? No wonder I never felt comfortable right from the first day I entered this house. There are business like selling groundnuts, frying pancake, doughnut, chin chin, also selling pure water but you prefer Runz life. Dad and Mum will be ashamed of you in the land of the spirit. You are a disgrace to womanhood. You lost your virginity a long time ago, iI am here thinking you will remain faithful to yourself till when you get married. I wonder the man that will marry you tufiaaaaaaaaaaaa " she said and walked away from me then she halted half way to the corridor.
"Keep all the things you bought for me to yourself am not interested. I will be leaving the house first thing tomorrow morning so that you can live your life the way you want to and don't forget Sexual transmitted diseases is real and HIV/AIDS is also real. " she entered her room and closed the door violently. I was like a tabula rasa at that present moment. I couldn't cry nor laugh.
As early as 7am the following day, Anita was ready to leave, I ran to her and held her hands.
"Ani please you can't leave because you don't have anywhere to go to and your school is still on strike. Just stay I promise to change " I pleaded with her in the corridor holding her box
"Sister until you change I will not come back. So am leaving " she rolled her box and passed me
"At least let me give you money to help yourself "I said
"I don't need your evil money, who knows where those men get their money from. God forbid. You disgust me right now. Please as I leave don't ever call my line or send any money to me because I will discard every means of link with you. Prostitute like you " she said and opened the door and I heard her hands
"Please Ani am still your sister and you are the only family I have please " I pleaded
"Sister my foot. Will I go and tell people that my elder sister is working as a 'Runz babe ' sleeping with men to get money and sponsor me. Who knows whether all this sleeping around you may have been infected with a deadly diseases and you may soon die, so it is small me that will do your burial abi?  It will not work. Good bye and continue in your dirty and disgusting life. Ashawo" she shrugged her hand and rolled her box out of the house.
I fell down and started weeping, no one was there to help me. I hated myself so much that day.
I couldn't eat the whole day, I only drank alcohol just to wipe away my pains, but it kept coming back. I decided to try smoking, so I went out and bought a packet of cigarettes for personal consumption. I smoked that night and drank alcohol till I slept off.
