I was now given invitation to minister in different states on daily basis.
Due to the heart of sacrifice I was always honoring their invitation and I only decline when the Holy Spirit instruct me to do so.
Programs were too much in my schedule and sometimes I could minister in three or four programs in a day and Bro Theophilus had traveled because he would have assisted me. I was going down spiritually due to the programs so I embarked on a one month fast and I canceled every appointment for the month.
The first three days of my fasting was dry but the rest days were six to six. I prayed as if I had never prayed before.
On the 28th day of my fasting, God revealed who He wants me to marry even when I never prayed for it.
Guess who the brother was?
Bro Theophilus oooooooo
Do you know that feeling when God reveals to you someone you least expected so I cast, bind, rebuked, canceled but at a point I thought the devil was cajoling me just to distract me but it was God that was really speaking.
The last day of my fasting, the Spirit of God led me to only worship Him by calling Him sweet names. I called Him the Adonai, the Elohim, the Alpha and Omega, the Ancient of days, the Elshaddai, the one and only God. As I was worshipping the Ogadagidi one, I could sense fire burning in me and it was heavy. Without exaggeration, I must say that after the fasting, I was literally producing fire from my body.
The following month after my fasting and prayers, a sister in the church came to my house for counseling on marriage, with the spirit of discernment active in me I paid rapt attention to her.
"Sis please help me have been praying for the will of God in marriage and God revealed to me a brother but the brother is not giving me attention at all " she said with much fear
"Go on " I spake
"So what should I do? " she asked
I was about advising her but the Holy Spirit told me it was all a lie
"Who is the brother? " that was the word that came out of my mouth
"Emmmmmm Bro _______Bro __________Bro Theophilus" she stuttered and I paused in the track
"Bro what? " I asked as if I didn't hear her
"Our Bro Theophilus in the church "
I exhaled quietly
"Have you prayed well? " I asked
"Yes "
"I will advice you to go and pray again for more confirmation. When you are really convinced come back to me we will pray together " I said
"OK thank you very much " she said
"You are welcome "
I bid her goodbye and I knew she will never come back to me again
I started smiling and I got from the chair I was sitting and parsed in the room.
'But when did two people start seeing one person as the will of God in marriage?' I thought but I remembered I prayed and canceled so maybe God immediately gave him to someone else, I just shuned it but I didn't have peace of mind and I whispered some prayers that God should help me and give me what was best for me.
In the evening that same day, Sister Mary came to my house. I was even planning of telling her the whole incident but her countenance was not bright and I decided to keep it till some other time. She was looking so frustrated and worried.
"Sister Mary good evening. You are not looking bright this evening what happened? " I asked immediately she sat down
"Sister Amanda, I am spending the night in your house because I want us to pray. There is fire on the mountain " she said without directly answering my qustion and out of joke I said
"Run! Run!! Run!!! "
She didn't even smile so I knew indeed there is fire on the mountain
"What are we praying for? " I asked
"It's about Bro Theophilus" she said and in my mind I was like 'Not again ' as if I knew
"Is he sick? " I played dump
"No. God revealed him to me as my will of God in ma__________"
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! " I mistakenly exclamated and she was surprised
"Sister Amanda what happened? " she asked with confusion
Immediately words came into my mouth
"Do you know that Bro Theophilus is a great man and he is an embodiment of destiny. Will you be able to carry his vision? He is an anointed minister of God but do you have the same vision with him? Will you be able to carry his ministry with him? Will you be able to tolerate him when you marry him? Have you ever thought of all this? " I spake with much boldness and authority. She looked at me and I knew those words entered her
"Is true oooooo. You are right. I never thought of that. Thank you very much, but God will help me. I just want us to pray that no sister will be able to take him away from me because I keep having a revelation of a sister coming in between us although the sister's face is not revealed. Tonight we will pray till we get results " she said
"Amen " I answered with a smile
That night we started the prayers as she wanted, so due to the funny prayer point I was just smiling and thank God we were using candle so she could barely see my face.
The prayers lasted for an hour. After the prayers she went to bed and I stayed awake and prayed. God led me to a scripture in '1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. '
When I finished reading the Bible, I rounded up my prayers then I went to bed.
Two months later, Bro Theophilus returned from wherever he traveled to and he was looking so healthy and more handsome. All most all the sisters rallied round him in the name of greetings but I stood afar off.
He excused them to answer a call, when he came close to where I was standing I just waved at him and walked away.
During the evening Bible study that day, sisters were busy smiling and winking at Bro Theophilus who was taking the Bible study and he wasn't even giving them face althrough his teaching.

I depended on the Holy Spirit and He taught me on how to handle the marital issue and I was now matured enough to handle the revelation God gave me on His will for me in marriage. I got more confirmation through prayers that Bro Theophilus was meant for me.
