RECAP

"Now that we found out the secret or a secret that Ms. Foster was hiding let's begin the test." Councilor Bronte said.

FITZ'S POV

I still can't believe why Sophie would lie about not manifesting especially an ability quite rare. She probably doesn't know that though.

"We were told that you can lift around 10 times your weight without proper training in telekinesis. Is this true?" Councilor Kenric asked Sophie.

Sophie stayed silent, so I figured I should answer for her.

"Yes, when I went to meet Sophie I doubted she was an elf due to her eye color. When I was about to leave though a car almost hit a kid, but Sophie jumped in front of the car to push the kid away and without knowing it she managed to use her telekinesis to lift the car into the air."

"That is impressive." Councilor Kenric said.

He seemed to be talking the most at least with an enthusiastic tone unlike Councilor Bronte.

Sophie still stayed quiet for some reason that I have no clue on why.

"Who made all those images and that sound play in my mind?" Sophie asked clearly upset.

"Being the most experienced telepath here especially when it comes to projecting things into other Elves minds, I did. I don't know what sound you are talking about though. I only projected images." Councilor Kenric said.

Sophie looked pretty mad about that, but something on her face showed that she was trying to control herself. But from what?

"Enough chitter chatter hurry up and show us your 'amazing' skills." Councilor Bronte said.

I never really see the Councilors much, but out of all the times I have Councilor Bronte was by far the rudest. Well that is at least out of the ones that talked.

"I don't even know how I used my so called telekinesis." Sophie said.

"Just do the same thing as you did last time." Councilor Kenric said.

Sophie muttered something under her breath that probably no one could hear. Then her face looked focused as she raised her hands to try to lift something.

SOPHIE'S POV

As I attempted to lift up some objects I ended up accidentally lifting up the Councilor's chairs that they were sitting in.

Everyone was staring in amazement while I was trying not to drop the 3 Councilors who were on floating chairs in the air.

Slowly I set down Councilor Oralie my favorite out of the three. I was about to set down the other two, then something that felt hidden in my mind clicked. I wanted to use the control that had just unclicked in my mind. I decided to show off a bit partially because I didn't really like either of them. Councilor Bronte was just rude and Councilor Kenric exposed me of my telepathy.

Carefully, I concentrated on spinning the chairs in a circle that got slightly faster each time they went around.

After what felt like enough spins I set both of them down gently hoping they wouldn't get sick.

"Was that really necessary." Councilor Bronte asked while giving me a death stare.

I could hear Alden and Councilor Oralie laughing quietly, but loud enough for everyone to hear them.

"Well I guess she really has great control and maybe a bit of a vengeful side as well." Councilor Kenric said trying to recover from the dizziness I had just caused him.

Yeah...I think I'll regret that in the future. Too late now though.

"Now I'm really curious how strong your telepathy is." Councilor Kenric said. I think he's the most amazed at my so called 'talents'.

"Oh I have the perfect test. Try to read what I'm thinking right now." Councilor Bronte said.

Councillor Kenric was about to speak but, before he could I crept into his mind with a slight bit of struggle. I thought it was just because I strained myself too hard with my telekinesis.

I finally found my way to his mind and his thought sunk in, There is literally no way she can read my mind. I mean Fitz probably chose the wrong girl. The girls probably a fake.

I rushed out of Brontes stupid mind pretty fast. The only thing I could think to say to him was, "Well that's real kind of you."

Everyone was looking at me once again in shock. Pure shock that was worse than before.

"H-How'd you do that?" Fitz asked, since he was the only one that seemed to be able to talk. Even though everyone was clearly thinking and shocked.

"I just used my 'powers' like usual. Sure it was a bit harder, but that's probably because you're all Elves."

"That can't be right...maybe he let you in...try to read my thoughts" Fitz said.

His mind was a lot easier all I had to do was slip in and slip right back out.

"You're thinking that there is no way I'm the right girl and other things that are similar, but nicer than what Councilor Bronte thought. Oh and that he isn't a telepath, so your theory can't be right."

I was just replaying all of my old memories some good others bad. After a good 3 minutes Alden finally said, "I think you have enough information on Sophie Foster for now. Which I believe means, it is time to make your decision.".
