"Why do you want pups so soon, Sophie?" Shellington asked with concern. "We've only been married for three days."
Sophie and Shellington were on their honeymoon trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. Shellington was not a fan of planes due to his fear of heights, so he was dressed in a tank top and knee-length shorts, the same glasses, and Chaco. Sophie, on the other hand, was wearing a purple summer dress with white shoes, and her long hair was tied up in a high ponytail. They were discussing the possibility of having pups.
"Well, while we are in Hawaii, we can consider it," Sophie suggested. "But how many pups do you want?"
Shellington shrugged and said, "Maybe one."
Sophie looked confused and tilted her head to the side, "Just one pup?" she asked.
"I don't know, maybe two," Shellington replied, feeling a bit nervous.
Suddenly, they experienced some turbulence and Shellington had a mini panic attack. Instead of having meltdowns, he now had panic attacks. He grabbed his spouse's paw and started to hyperventilate a little. Sophie placed her paw over his and helped him calm down with some breathing exercises. Being the wife of a sea otter on the autism spectrum and a possible marine biologist, Sophie knew she would need a lot of patience.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Honolulu International Airport. The local time is 11:42 AM HST, and the temperature is 81 degrees. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate, and it is safe to move about. Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you. Also, use caution when opening the overhead bins as heavy articles may have shifted during the flight. If you require assistance with deplaning, please remain seated until all other passengers have deplaned. One of our crew members will be pleased to help you. On behalf of PSL Perth Airlines and the entire crew, we thank you for joining us on this trip. We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon. Have a pleasant stay!"
As the plane landed, Shellington fastened his seatbelt and held on tight to his seat. Sophie put on her seatbelt too. Two young sea otters grabbed their suitcases and left the plane. Shellington flagged down a taxi, put their suitcases in the back, and got in.
"Ke hele nei i kahi?" the Hawaiian taxi driver asked.
Sophie looked confused, and Shellington pulled out a Hawaiian language translator book. He flipped through it and found the phrase he needed.
"Um...E lawe ia makou i ka Hokele o Aston Waikiki Circle, e 'olu'olu," Shellington said in Hawaiian.
The taxi driver nodded and took them to the hotel. After arriving at the hotel, they thanked the driver, grabbed their suitcases, and went to the room they would be staying in for the next two weeks. The room was spacious, with a king-size bed and a balcony that offered a breathtaking view of the ocean and beach. There was also a red couch behind the balcony.
