Port Angeles

I walked down the road and shoved the file into my bag. As I was crying and walking back to school a car pulled up beside me. I glanced over and saw Jasper and Alice driving alongside me. Alice said, "Aqua get in the car please." I said "You don't understand Ali, my parents hate me and made my life hell because of what Renee did. I was innocent I didn't choose who my parents were and somehow they blame me."

Jasper said "Aqua I realize this isn't fair but you don't get to hurt yourself, there are people who love you. Like us, Rosalie is your aunt, we are all your family. Hell, Bella is your twin sister and she loves you." I said, "I'm walking to school Jazz not jumping off a cliff." He said, "I mean the not eating, Aqua."

I said "Oh that is so not important right now," I stopped walking causing Jazz to stop the car. "What is important is the fact that my parents lied to me and Bella and my mom forced my actual dad and two other siblings to stay away from me. It's important that I am related to Rosalie Hale a literal goddess and somehow I went from being the odd man out in my family with my blonde hair to being the odd man out in another family."

Even though I fought it, Jasper still opened his door and pulled me into his lap. He said, "How are you the odd man out?" I said "Well I have blonde hair and I am not as smart as Bella which made me the odd one out and now I have another side of the family which are all blonde like me but now I'm the odd one out with looks. They, from Rosalie down to my older siblings, are perfect and beautiful and I'm not."

I let my head fall against Jasper's chest as he tightened his hold around my body. He said "You are perfect just the way you are, you are smart, kind, and beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you any different." I sighed as Alice grabbed my hand and said "Aqua are you sure you wanna go to school?" I said, "Yeah, because I don't want to think about this right now." they nodded and he stuck me on her lap causing her to wrap her arms around my waist. I leaned against his chest as he wrapped one arm around me and started to drive. "Thank you," I quietly said "For being there for me and loving me. Thank you to all of you." They parked and he said, "We will always be here for you, see you after school Aqua." 

I nodded and got out of the car and headed to the table Bella was sitting at with Jessica and Angela for lunch. I sat next to Bella as Jessica said "It sucks that you are gonna be out of town for prom, we need to hit Port Angeles before all the good dresses are gone." Bella said "Port Angeles? Mind if Aqua and I come?" Jessica said, "Obviously we need your opinions." The bell rang and we all headed to class, in Biology Bella said "So where did you go?" I said "I went to the Cullen's house, I had Dr. Cullen looks into something for me." She said, "Well what was it?" I glanced up from my notes and looked at my twin sister, and said "I'll let you know on the drive home before Jess and Angela get there." she nodded and left it alone.

As I walked to the truck to meet up with Bella  Alice texted me ~Hey Babes you can tell Bella your relation to Rosalie but if you do say her and Jazz are your cousins. Love you!~ -Ali I replied ~Will do Ali. Love you 2~ -Aqua I put my phone in my pocket and climbed in the truck. As we drove home I explained what happened and showed her the DNA test and my birth certificate. Then before we could full talk about it we were home, we dropped our bags off and grabbed a purse and our wallets before getting in Jessica's car. 

We have been in Port Angeles for a few hours, I found a dress that I fell in love with and bought. Jess said "What about this one, it makes my boobs look hot." we saw guys tapping on the dress shop windows and whistling at us. Jess turned away and said, "That is uncomfortable." Bella said "That is disgusting. But that looks nice Jess." I said, "It really shows your curves and the color makes your eyes pop." Jess said "It is really nice, isn't it... You're not really into this are you?" Bella said, "I was hoping to check out this bookstore, do you mind if Aqua and I go and we will meet you at the restaurant?" Angela said, "If you're sure." Bella nodded and stood up so I followed her to the book store. As we walked she said, "So you are Rosalie and Jasper Hale's cousin?" I said, "Yep apparently my dad is a Hale and was Renee and Charlie's best friend."

Bella opened the door to the shop and said "That is crazy. Whats even crazier is you went to school after finding out. I would like never, leave my room." I laughed as we walked down the aisles of books "Bella, why would I hide? That would not solve any problems." She said, "Because you now have to let Renee and Charlie know that you know their secret." she grabbed a book about Quileute legends and I said "Yeah well she can't be that surprised I mean, she knew I was suspicious when I was 13. She literally told Alex that I was." 

Bella paid for her book and we walked outside, the sun had set so it was dark now and Bella headed down an alley I said: "Yo B, I don't know if we should go this way." She waved me off "It's the fastest way to the restaurant." I sighed not liking this idea. Something felt off deep in my gut like something was bound to go wrong. We linked arms and huddled close as we walked down the barely lit alley. We saw boys in front of us from the dress shop so we crossed the street and sped up our pace. 

Boys stayed behind us to pace us, It looked like they were herding us. They were definitely drunk as they couldn't walk straight and were carrying a six-pack each. I groaned as we were herded to an abandoned parking lot and they surrounded us. We backed against the wall and Bella said "Stay back. Don't touch us." One guy touched her hair as another pulled me from her and against his chest. I was struggling to get free as Bella hit the one touching her with her purse which had a book in it. That guy said, "Fiesty, I like it." The one holding me made me freeze as he held a knife to my throat and he whispered "Fight and I will kill you and your little friend." I was crying by this point but I tried hard not to move, though every time I trembled the knife dug a little more into my neck and I knew I was bleeding.

Another guy had managed to cut off my dress and stick his hand in my underwear when two cars sped into the parking lot. The guys backed off and threw me to the ground, making Bella yank me to her side. Edward and Jasper got out of the cars and Edward said "Bella, Aqua get in." we ran to the cars... well Bella ran and dragged me along. She shoved me in the backseat of Jasper's where I curled up in a ball and closed my eyes. I heard the trunk open and close before Jasper got in and a blanket was laid on top of me. 

Alice said, "Edward is taking Bella to meet her friends." When I didn't answer she continued "Aqua, I'm sorry I thought I saw this in time, I thought we could get here before..." she faded off and Jasper said, "Just give her some time Ali, let's get her home." Alice said, "Ok, uh we called Charlie and told him you fell asleep at our place and we are letting you sleep over." That was the end of the conversation and Jasper drove off to the house. Once he parked in the garage I got out wrapping the blanket around me securely and ignored everyone that tried to talk to me, instead opting for going to the guest bedroom that I stay in and crawling under the giant fluffy duvet while still wrapped up in the throw blanket.
