You abandoned me

I love you, I say,

as I fall to the ground.

I love you, I cry...

Unsure if my heart's beating now.

I love you, I whisper, in your ear;

As tears keep streaming clear.

I wish you could hear me,

when I whisper to you,

but you're too far away

and you have not a clue.

That I need you here,

as I try and try...

We're on a break,

both on our own.

Because you want me to try;

but now I'm trying not to die.

Left to do this all on my own,

with you on my mind,

without one simple note.

I was striving to try to do;

What you wished for me to do.

But I guess I've ended up trying..

To go day by day...
