It's bound to happen
But, yet, it still hurts
Is this how we chose
To live on this earth?

Hearts in our hands,
Have we ever questioned why?
We don't even know
If there is another side.

They say heaven is above
And hell is down below.
If there's anyone up there,
I just want to let you know.
You have a lot of angels,
Gained another yet again..

Is there anyone out there?
Please, keep them in your care.
Keep them as we mend.
We lost more family,
We lost another friend...

You pick the best ones,
Like we do in our gardens.
It's not fair to us;
It's not fair regardless.

If this is how life works,
I won't say my real thought.
But, rest in peace to loved ones.
Rest in peace to the one we just lost...
