Chapter 6

His POV

I must always watch her and now more about her.

I was standing here by the trees in front of her house. I wasn't expecting for someone to join me to watch her but Heeseung came. "You out of all pe-- vampires?"

He just look at me as he was drinking the blood of a rabbit "I am really hungry" he said and look at where I am looking at

After a while, I saw Jay with Mavy running while holding each other's hand causing her to stumble down and had so many scratches.

"This is really bad" I told Heeseung but his eyes and mine were turning red. He was turning to a devil as he smelled blood. As I look at Jay, his hands were getting sharper as his claws are starting to appear.

I tried my best to hide it in and quickly ran to her to offer a hand. I tied my handkerchief to her wounds and put band aids to her hand. I tap at Jay behind my back, covering the physical traits that almost had himself revealed as a vampire in front of her.

"Are you okay?" I asked her

She look at me and as if she is seeing a real life prince in front of her. She just nod at me "Can I know your name?" she asked

"I am Park Sunghoon" I replied

I can read minds but why can't I get into her head... What was she thinking?

"Thank you for helping me" she said and put her hand forward.

"Mavy?!!!" her dad came out

I told her not to get scratches or bleed. Monsters are lurking everywhere

I read his mind but how dare he call us monsters. I look at her again but I really am completely blocked in her thoughts.

I hope they are just normal People-her father's thoughts

"by the way dad... This is Jake" she said and pointed at him "And I just met him today, he help me with my wounds. Sunghoon? His name is Sunghoon" she said and I bowed

This one seems to be a normal person-her father's thoughts

"I am Mavy by the way"she put her hand in front of me. She is waiting for me to shake her hand

I don't have any gloves today. She might find it mysterious because my hands were as cold as ice." I am sorry but my hands are quite cold in the moment" I reasoned out

"ohh okay" she said

"Say goodbye to your friends now... It is getting darker and darker every second" her father said "you kids should also go home. The streets are so scary at night"

Little does he know that we are the rulers of the night

"Here comes the savior" Jake started clapping. His eyes were turning red

This means war

"Don't worry about it" Jake told me

I caught up as I saw his teeth and hands were forming already. He completely transformed and slit my chest wide open

"don't be surprised but your wounds can't easily heal because of this" he said and threw a bottle of potion in the floor

I look at my chest and it is not healing itself. I stood up and quickly change my physical self.

"Fair enough" I told him and slatch his thigh, his back and his entire chest "I am in a higher rank than you... How dare you test my patience" I told him and lick at his blood saying "You just ate a deer"

"I am way better than you" I told him and ran around him "you can never defeat me"

I strangled him and hit his back on a tree. I was so close in ending his life

"Sunghoon-ahh~~ have mercy on him" Jungwon came as he hold my hand "remember the old times"

"Don't bother us... We're having a conversation" I told him

"That's no conversation to me" Sunoo came "If you kill him now... You can't see how he changed in the future" he said as his eyes were turning yellow

He saw something

I went inside his head to see his vision.
"You're not making this up in your head right?" I asked him (we are currently inside his head so no one will hear our conversation)

"I saw what he will become... Don't kill him yet" he said

"show me what you saw" I told him

I saw Jake smiling from ear to ear while having a conversation with me. I don't know what we're talking about but it's the first time I saw him so happy after 300 years.

"okay you win"

We came back to reality

"You're lucky... Next time I will not show mercy to you" I told him and change back to my state

Jay quickly caught me in his arms, I feel so weak now that I lost every blood that I have eaten for today.

"Assist him. He has an open cut in the chest because of a potion" Sunoo said

"I will run to uncle Chen" Nikki said and everyone was puzzled "Uncle Chen... You forgot about him? He was a doctor and maybe u was thinking if he will lend us some 3-5 packs of blood"

"You're so brilliant Nikki... I forgot about Uncle Chen" Heeseung said

Jay put me on his back and Heeseung was following us from behind.

"Did you forgot about that Sunghoon?? You knew that Jake will never play fair because he was a trickster. Why did you get yourself open up" Heeseung said

They put me on my bed as they rip off my shirt.

"this is a one serious thing... Jake will never admit the potion but it's like... Your wounds can't heal easily... Like a human flesh" Jay said

"Where did he get such a strong potion?" Heeseung asked

"Why? Want to use it for something?" Jay said and poke Heeseung

"I want to know more about it... So that we can test it and find a solution you dumbass" Heeseung smacked Jay's head

"You put to much force on it!!!!!" Jay said

"All the blood you drank was flowing" Heeseung said and quickly get a stretchable bandaid to prevent it from flowing even more "You'll end up killing 2 persons at this rate.. Only human blood can make your wounds heal faster. Since it is much powerful than animal's blood"
