Chapter 7: The Fortune Teller

Her POV

"That Sunghoon... Is there anything strange you observed from him?" my dad asked me

"You're the one who is acting strange dad" I told him and laughed

"What about that Jake guy?" my dad asked and I was reminded about him again

Those ravaging eyes of his, he is more like a predator than a gentleman I met in the first place.

"Jake was really really nice dad" I told him and continued eating

"You should distance yourself from strangers okay??" my grandmother held my hand "Your blood is one of the most precious thing in our family---" my father took over what she's telling

"Of course mom... With blood in her body then she might be dead right now" he said and laughed awkwardly

"You're more like a blessing" my grandma said as she place her hand on my cheek.

"you should take care of your grandma after you finish eating and prepare your stuff for school tomorrow" My dad told me

"I should was--"

"Never mind it... I will wash the plates" my father said

After dinner, I did what he asked me to do. I put grandma in bed and fixed my stuff to school tomorrow.

I heard a knock on my door and I look at him "I should give you this since I know you'll take good care of it" my father said

"not only that your mom left you a ring but she also left this for you" he said as he bring out a Phoenix jade necklace

"it's beautiful dad" I told him and was about to receive it but he insisted to put it on my neck

"now... You look exactly like your mom" he told me as he caress my hair. I offered him a hug since he is missing mom everyday

"Dad... You can go to work now. You don't need to give me a ride to school" I told him

"Why? I want to drop you off" he said

"Then you'll going to be late for work dad" I told him "I will take the bus" I kissed his forehead

"Just make sure to comply with everything I told you okay? Always be careful" he said

I went out of the house and ran to the bus stop. I was patiently waiting but an old lady drop her things on the ground. I help her pick it up but as soon as we touched each other. She never let go of my hand

"My... My... My... What an interesting fate" she said as she looked at me

"pardon me?" I told her

"Young lady... I have seen your future" she smiled

I will just tag along since the bus has not yet arrived

"You seem to have two pe--ohh... It's not a person. Let's just say it's a person, one person sought to protect you at all cost but the other one can kill that person in order to achieve his goals and you in particular." she said

"are you writing a novel madam? I will gladly hear it" I told her and smiled

I look at the road and saw the bus. As soon as I turned around to look at lady, she was already gone

"just a second ago... You were just right here by my side. Where did you go?" I look around but I get inside the bus because I can't seem to find her and I am late for school.

I ran to the main entrance and luckily I passed through before the bell rang

"That's a pretty good start" I told myself and fixed my uniform.

I walk through the crowded hallway and managed to find my locker. I placed some of the books that I will not be using in the afternoon session.

I was looking for my room but I trampled into someone.

"need a hand?" he asked.

As soon as I look upwards, I saw a very familiar face "ohhh? Jake? You're from this school?" I asked him in happiness

"Mavyyy! I can't believe it. We meet again" he said and smiled but I can't forget about his reaction yesterday

"Are we perhaps in the same class?" I asked him

"Room 14 Class A?" he was waiting for my reaction but I just smiled at him and nod.

"really?!" he was shocked

"yep" I told him. I look around and there were dozens of people who were looking at us. "Don't tell me you're a high school heartthrob?" I look at him sharp in the eyes

"How'd you know?" he said as he posed to me like an international star

"You're so----" I was cut off as soon as someone called him

"ayooo~~ Jake~~" a very adorable man appeared

"What's up Jungwonnniee~~" he said as they clasp their hands together

"Yes I know you're strong but have mercy on my precious hands" That new guy said "and who do we have here? Eyy?" he raised his eyebrows and looked at me strangely "I know that smell... It's soooo--"

"stop it" Jake said

"I have seen you some---- ohh! That's right!!!!! - - -" he was again stopped by Jake

"Yah! Did you sta--" Jungwon stopped Jake from talking as a sign of his revenge

"I heard there was a new student in school and you're the only one who has a new face in school" he said "By the way... I am Yang Jungwon"

"I am Cha Mavy" I told him and presented my hand for a handshake

"I am sorry but I can't accept your handshake for now... My hands are kinda sweaty" he refused me

"ohh.. It's okay" I told him

"Yang Jungwonnnieee~~" a voice was heard from the far alley. As soon as he entered he jumped to Jungwon's back

"please do excuse him... He really acts that way" another person entered

"the pack is almost complete" a voice behind my back suddenly appears

Where'd he come from? He's like a ghost.

The person got off from Jungwon's back and introduce himself "Hi .. I am Kim Sunoo" he smiled

"I am Jay by the way" he said with a deep voice

"and I am Nikki" someone whispered behind my back again. It gave me chills

As I look at a distance, I saw two men coming to our way

Other students were like :

"who is she really?"

"How come she got to be with the hot guys when she was just new in school?"

"I might want to kill this girl" this was the specific comment that gave me chills up to my bones

Ohhh... Is that the boy who helped me yesterday? What---what was his name again? It goes with S-- Su
