After the snack we all went back to our classrooms. Heeseung tag along with us
"Sunghoon... Are you okay?? Did it heal completely?" he said and he was about to rip his polo of but he noticed that I am still here watching them.
"You're an erotic one" I giggled as I went to my seat
"Yah! It's not what you think it is!" Heeseung shouted as he claim his straight guy appearance in front of me.
"okay okay..." I told him
Sunghoon was now a bit brighter than how he was in our first class. He interlocked his eyes with mine as he approached his seat.
"Mavy... Should we go to the library after class?" Jake asked me
"Sure... No prob" I smiled
As I look at Sunghoon again... He was looking out in the window, as if someone was outside. He stands ubruptly and ran out of the room
"Where's he going?? It is almost time for our next subject" I told Jake
"Never mind him... He always do this often" Jake told me and laughed
"Really?" I asked with my eyes wide open and he just nod
I look outside the window finding some information but I can't really see anything out there.
The teacher came in right in time.
"ohh... We have a vacant seat at the back?" the teacher asked and counted how many students were in the room.
"I was actually going to discuss about a project to all of you... It's your project on physics and you need to build something that is much related to the topics I discussed so far" he announced
"how's the grouping style sir?" I raised my hands and he look at me in curiosity
"Mari?" he scrub his eyes and as if he saw a ghost
Choi Mari was my mother's name
"you must be mistaken sir. My name is Cha Mavy" I told him
"I am sorry... You just resembled someone I know" he smiled
"So you will be grouped in to two and your partner will be your seat mate... The one at your left" he said
"sir... Can I protest?? I want her to be my partner though" Jake stood up and pointed at me
"Mr. Sim... I can't change my mind though... Your partner will be your seat mate" he said as he crossed his arms on him
"Yahh~~ sit down already" I whispered to him
"I just feel bad because your partner ran away" Jake whispered and it made me laugh a bit
"Do you perhaps have his number??" I asked him again
"Why?" he said furiously
"So that I can keep contact with him since it's our project" I told him
"I don't have his number" he frowned
"Bbut you're his friend" I pouted
"we actually don't know each other" he said crossing his arms
"since when?" I teased
"starting now" he said and turned his back on me
"can't you help me just once?" I poke at him but he doesn't respond to me
I don't know their past lessons
I think harder and was reminded that I was supplied by our homeroom teacher with notes of every subject
I started to draw a draft about our project. I was thinking on making a ferris wheel and the supply power will be a potato battery.
This is killing two birds in one stone
I listed every material that we will be using in the project and how to make it. I just need to buy some stuff at the convenience store after I finish some research in the school library.
After class
"Mavy... Let's go?" Jake said
"I can't today... I need to finish something" I told him. I smiled at him as I grab my bag and quickly ran away to the school's library
I grab some physics book and the community's history. I never taught that it was 6:45 PM already.
"I'm doomed" I told myself and checked my phone. I already got 10 missed calls from my dad. I put the books back to its place and ran out of the school.
I quickly dropped to a department store and purchased all the things I need for the school project.
After having everything I think I have lost my way to a bus station. I was in an unfamiliar path and met 3 gangsters.
"ohhh... It's our luck today" said the guy in a red hoodie
"Didn't you know that people in this community must not be out at this time?" someone who was smoking said
I took a step back and I was really trembling. They were so close and someone touched my clothes. I slap their hand off my body which made them laugh
" ohhh... Fearless" I think that's their leader
They grab my hand which made me drop all the supplies we need for the school project
"You better not come closer!! Or... Or"
"or what?" they smirked
"my b--boyfriend will be here in time" I told them as I stand firm
"ohhh I'm so scared" they teased and they grabbed me in both of my hands
"Let's go to the corner" the leader said and dragged me to the corner. I fought back but I can't seem to match their strength.
"yahhhhh!!!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs so that someone will heard me but they are so quick witted and covered my mouth.
As we were reaching the corner a flash appeared and the sound of a motor bike.
"You seem to have the girl that I have been looking for" he said with his helmet on
"who are you?" they said as they were tightly grabbing at my hand
"do I need to tell you my name?" he said as he move closer.
They attacked him but he was like a trained fighter. He dodged all their punches and as he punched them back, they flew to the walls.
"sh*t" they said as they ran away
He then pulled me out of the corner and gave me a helmet.
"wait for a moment" I told him and ran to pick all the things I bought for our project.
Many people appeared...
"there! Catch him!!" the guys from a while ago came with backup
He gave me a hand and quickly went to his motorcycle.
"get on quickly" he said
I sat at the back of his motorcycle and was puzzled where will I hold on.
"grab on tight" he said and ran his motorcycle
I was holding his leather jacket but he took a brake which made me wrap my hands around him.
"It's unsafe..." he said
The guys were now in a motorbike chasing us
I was then tightly hugging him from the back. I just want to go home.
