Bakugo
I locked the door, then double and tripled checked that it was actually locked before I got undressed. When I had removed all my clothing, I reached down and unwrapped my bandages.
There was a large array of angry, red lines that zigzagged across my thighs, and the word 'WEAK', which I had made about a month ago, seemed to glow a fiery red.
I turned on the water for the shower and felt it with my hand before stepping in. The water burned against my thighs, but it was a brief, stinging pain before I got used to it and did my regular shower routine.
I quietly hummed a song while I finished up my shower and turned off the water. I dried myself off and was about to put on a fresh change of clothes when I realized that I had left my bandages in my bag.
"F****** sh**," I swore, securely wrapping the towel around my waist before unlocking the door and stepping out.
Luckily, Kirishima was nowhere in sight. Hopefully he left for dinner or some sh**. I quickly snatched the roll of bandages I had brought with me and scurried back into the bathroom, where I slammed the door shut.
Sighing in relief, I dropped my towel and wrapped up my thighs, which were now an even brighter red from getting touched with the hot water.
I ripped off the extra bandage that I didn't need, then threw my clothes on and headed out of the bathroom. That wasn't too bad. Just two more weeks and it would all be over.
I hated these camps. My teammates and I had done a camp like this for football, and not only was it brutal, I struggled a lot in trying to keep my cuts a secret. I hardly had any time to myself during that camp, and that's where I had made the word 'WEAK', because I had thrown up one time after a horrible practice session, like most of my teammates had. But I felt weak because of it, because I was supposed to be their captain. Someone they could look to for guidance and leadership. And throwing up just showed them I was weak.
"BAKUGO GET YOUR A** OUT OF YOUR CABIN!!!" A voice screamed from outside.
I heaved out a sigh, walked over to the door, and threw it open. My coach stood there, looking pissed.
"What are you doing? It's dinner time," he said, motioning for me to follow him.
"I'm not hungry," I said, reluctantly following him.
He gave a concerned look as we kept walking. "What's wrong?"
"I dunno," I mumbled, but that was a lie. I knew exactly what was going on.
"Well, you don't have to eat anything, but promise me you'll eat breakfast tomorrow," he said.
"I promise," I said, crossing my fingers behind my back.
He nodded, seemingly satisfied, and kept leading me towards an outdoor pavilion where the rest of the guys were eating. I felt bad for lying to my coach, but if he knew what was going on, he would kick me off the team in an instant. He didn't want depressed guys who hurt themselves on his team.
"Hey, it's Bakugo!" My co-captain said, grinning as he walked up to me and gave me a fist bump, which I half-heartedly returned. "How's it going? I haven't seen you much since we got here."
I stared at him for a long moment. His name was Tenjin, and I'm pretty sure he only put up with me because I was his captain.
"I've just been sorting sh** out in my cabin," I said, shrugging. "How's you cabin mate?"
Tenjin's face lit up with a wide smile. "He's actually super nice! His name is Sero and we're getting along super great! How's your cabin mate? I've met the dude before, he seems pretty chill."
