Chapter 7: Tests

So they're magic wolves? I didn't know they existed. What's next? Wolves with wings??

"Why are you here?" Daniel interrogated.

"We have a quest that we need to complete. You're all in the way of our journey." Lucy replied. "So you live here right? In whatever realm place this is?" Ash questioned. "Of course we do. You aren't from here are you?" Linda replied. Ok they are from here so maybe they know how to get us back. "Can you help us get back to our homes? We aren't from this.. place you live in." Kyle asked. The sun was now setting and the wolves were growing hungry and tired. "You are. You may not remember but you were born here. Outsiders can't be in a clan." Linda explained.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm from New York like the rest of us." Kyle exclaimed.

"The girl" linda said, pointing at ash "she's a descendant of the goddess hera. Hera was our savior and she died long ago, now her great granddaughter is here" she had a big smile on her face and Lucy rolled her eyes "linda she does look like hera but she doesn't have wings or magic. None of them have elemental magic" ash looked at them "magics real?" Daniel said starting to freak "i thought magic was only in fairytales we were told as kids" "nope and all of you should have elements. Like fire water ice earth ether wind" lucy cut linda off mid sentence "we use magic to survive since our pack was taken and kate led them to our cave" kate got really mad and all anyone could hear for a moment was kate growling "it was my first hunt how could i know demons were out" while they were fighting ash walked over to a dying tree "its dying isn't it" she turned and kyle was standing there looking at the tree "i can tell by the bark on the side" "yeah its in pain, like its poisoned" she put her hand against the tree and leaves started to grow back on the branches and the bark under her hand started to glow. The tree looked just like the other trees again but this one had fruits on it. "Ash and Kyle found food" Kyle just stood there staring at the girl, she revived a dying tree and changed it to give us food, wow. Everyone grabbed some food and were happy again, talking and eating. But ash had no appetite "are you ok?" kyle and daniel asked as ash fainted
