Sunrise
He starts his trek across the sky
Emitting light to all who arise
Gilding a valley in luminant gold
Beaming beams through a window
The birds take flight in the bright of day
The animals below go out to play
The clouds make way for the rising fire
Warming the world while climbing higher
The light gives hope amongst the dark
It starts journeys we must embark
It's always there, no surprise
That's the beauty of a sunrise
Sunset
Cooling down at this hour
It has the elegance of a flower
Just like a sunrise this could give hope
But the fear of night may make thee elope
The birds come home to their nests, secure
The animals wind down as the light is no more
The clouds take in the pink-orange glow
Making quite the view from a mountain or window
The day is gone and night approaches
Light bids goodbye, closing like roses
Time to sleep now, but do not fret
Dream about the beauty of a sunset
