Kept in the dark
While a war is ablaze.
Bullets are shot,
But it all was a haze.
Signs may show,
But they never tell.
Understanding is lost
In this cold dark shell.
Longing to help
When there's nothing to do.
Standing there helpless,
While curses are spewed.
Refuses to cry.
Always getting angry,
For not being able to try
And being part of it blindly.
