A week later...
Star's P.O.V
I was walking outside of the campus to the parking lot.
I was talking to Emmy, one of my other close friends.
"So, I see you didn't drive to school today. Who drove you today?"she says
Just when she said that, I spotted Zach standing in front of his car waiting for me.
I took a deep sigh and smiled.
"Him 😍"I say
She followed my eyes and they finally landed on him.
"Zach LaVine?"she says
I nod and bite my bottom lip.
"How did that happen?"she says
"My dad is the coach of his team. Remember?"I say
Before she could respond, i was walking away.
I ran up to Zach and wrapped my arms around his neck, basically jumping into his arms. He laughed against my shoulder.
"It looks like someone missed me a lot"he says
"Hell yeah, although we're not dating..."I say
He pulls away and looks me in the eyes, grinning. He grabs both of my hands and sighs.
"I really don't know if it's too early to ask you this...but I want to officially be yours"he says
"So what are you saying?"I say, smiling
"That I want you to be my girlfriend"he says
My smile only grew wider.
"So will you be my girlfriend?"he says
"Yes"I say
He smiled and kissed my forehead. Then my nose and finally my lips. I smiled into the kiss.
"Mine"he says against my lips
We pull away. He takes his keys out his pocket and puts them in my hand.
"Lets go"he says
I walk over to the drivers side and he goes to the passenger side. I start the car.
"2015 NBA All-Star weekend in New York is coming up in a few weeks...from the 13-15"he says
I nod and pull out of the parking spot.
"You wanna come with me, you know, to support your boyfriend in the Rising Stars game and the Sprite Dunk Contest in Brooklyn"he says
I look over at him, then quickly bring my attention back to the road.
"Yeah I'd love to go but...I don't have a plane ticket"I say
"Already got it"he says
"Parents permission?"I say
"Already asked"he says
"Hotel room?"I say
"We're sharing"he says
"You had this planned out already?"I say
"Yup"he says
"Wow"I say, eyes still glued to the road
"So what do you say?"he says
"Sure I'll go"I say
From the corner of my eye I see him grinning.
"When do I start packing and when do we leave?"I say
"You can start packing when you get home. We're only gonna be there for 2 days, depending on if you wanna stay for the All-Star game, which I'm not in, and we leave Thursday night since the Rising Stars game is Friday night"he says
