"Guys, I want you to meet your new teammate"coach says
"Where is he?"Adreian says
"She is right here"coach responds
He had his hand on the girls shoulder. She looked to be around 6 feet...117 pounds.
"Awe hell nah!"half the team said
They all started carrying and going on. I just stood there speechless with Kevin.
"Shut it up!"coach says
Everyone goes silent.
"This is Myra Simmons, your new teammate. Treat her just like the other guys on this team"he says
"What position you play?"I ask
"SG"she says
I nod.
"You play SG and PG, right?"she says
I nod.
"Interesting"she says
"Well, you guys get to know each other better...I'm gonna go and work on some things"coach says
He walks into his office, leaving me and the guys with our new teammate.
"Where are my manners? I'm Zach LaVine by the way"I say, holding my hand out to her
"Myra Simmons"she says, shaking my hand awkwardly
We let go hands.
"This is Kevin Garnett"I say
"I know"she says
Kevin gives her a head nod and goes back to whatever he was doing.
"We have another teammate named Andrew Wiggins but he was suspended for being retarted"I say
She laughs lightly.
"He'll be back soon, just hide your friends"I say
She laughs again.
"Thanks for the warning"she says
"No problem"I say
After that, she was called into the coach's office.
Myra's P.O.V
"So Myra, what number did you say you wanted again?"coach Saunders says
"Number 11"I say

"Nice choice"he says
"Thanks"I say
He smiles at me.
"So, I'm assigning you the locker that's right next to Zach...if you don't mind"he says
"No sir. I don't mind at all"I say
"Good"he says
He stands up from behind his desk after writing down some things.
"Welcome to the team Myra"he says, shaking my hand
"Thank you"I say
We let go hands and he walks me out to the locker room.
"Your Jersey and other things will be here Thursday morning. Your first official practice with the Timberwolves"he said
