"No babe, you hold the ball like this"I say, positioning Star's hand on the basketball correctly
"Like this?"she says
"Yes"I say
I then moved back and let her shoot the ball. She made the shot. She turned and jumped around.
"My first shot ever"she says
I chuckle and shake my head.
"Yeah whatever"I say
She glares at me.
"I run faster than you though"she says
I shrug.
"How fast?"I say
"15 steps in 5 seconds"she says
"I can do 20 in 3 seconds"I say
She huffs. I smirk, throwing the basketball into the hoop.
"You hear that sound?"I say
"Cars going off?"she says
"No"I say
She giggles.
"The sound of the hoop"I say
She shrugs.
"Yeah"she says
I grin.
"That's what we call nothing but net"I say
She rolls her eyes.
After our little break, I showed her some more basketball moves. Soon she was ballin like a pro.
"How do you catch on so quick?"I say
She shrugs.
"Its a gift I guess"she says
"Damn sure is"I say
She giggles.
"Oh yeah, you know that job application I sent in?"she says
I nod.
"I got both"she says
"You got the job for the Twins and the Vikings?"I say
"Yes"she says
"Oh my god baby, that's awesome"I say, hugging her
She smiles.
"I know right?"she says
I kiss her cheek and unwrap my arms.
"So you wanna try that game of 1 on 1 now? The offer still stands"I say, smirking
She grins and nods.
"Lets say...first to 30 wins"I say
"Alright, let's go"she says
I grin.

"I let you win that game...only because you're a beginner"I say
