Third Person POV

Isla was streaming some Undertale to waste some time as she was bored. She remembered seeing Dan and Phil play it on their gaming channel years ago and wanted to try it out. What better time to try a game than on stream for the entertainment of others?

Meanwhile, George was in a vc with Dream, Quackity, and Bad. Karl kept popping in every now and then, but he was busy with Jimmy so it was only for a few minutes at a time. They had been talking about everything from Lore, which George zoned out during, to other people, which drifted George's mind to the topic of Isla.

"Have you ever seen Isla's art? It's like amazing. I didn't even know she was an artist," George gawked, thinking back to the portraits he saw on Isla's wall last week. They hadn't interacted since then. She still had him blocked on almost everything and made it clear that she didn't care for him to reach out.

"Yeah, she's good at art," Bad said, a bit amused that George was talking so positively about Isla.

"She compares her art to others so she hasn't drawn in a bit," Dream said absentmindedly, not giving all his attention to the conversation at hand since he was in the middle of editing the manhunt from last week.

"That's insane! Her work is amazing. She had this portrait of Sapnap and Patches, it was so good--"

The boys listened to George describe Isla's art, even though they've seen pictures of it and its progress multiple times before. They just enjoyed hearing George talk about Isla in a good light; they had to soak it all in because they assumed it'd be the last time. And so George rambled, without even realizing it, because no one stopped him. He talked about the little details of her art, like the hair strokes on Patches fur or the glare on Niki's glasses frames.

"And I didn't even know she had a panic disorder," he moved the topic from her art to just her.

"She doesn't really talk about it; doesn't want people to look at her and only think about her panic. She's seen how fans speculate and analyze every little thing other creators do just because they're open about their disorders and she didn't want that to define her in her career," Dream explained to his friend. He'd hoped that George would be kinder to Isla if he knew what she went through.

"How does it affect her?" George was curious as to what it meant to have a panic disorder. He knew it had something to do with anxiety, but he wasn't sure how it affected someone's day to day life. He'd never known anyone who went through something like that. He didn't even necessarily care specifically how it affected Isla; he was just using her as a generalization of the disorder itself.

"Um, well. She has trouble sleeping and she's always tired because she's constantly draining herself from panicking every minute of everyday. It takes her two hours to just leave her apartment to bring the trash out, but even then, she talks herself out of it most times. Most days her anxiety is so bad that it starts to affect her physically. Like she'll throw up, get really bad stomach aches, and headaches. It's just an all around bad time and she'll randomly work herself up over nothing so we always have to be by our phones in case she calls," Dream explained some of the things he remembered off the top of his head.

"I mean obviously sometimes it's a struggle helping her through something like that, but she's a good person and she deserves the world, that's why we do our best," Bad added on.

"That seems like hell," George commented, getting lost in his thoughts. He imagined what it would be like just spending two hours taking out the garbage. That's a task that takes maybe five minutes maximum for him.

He thought back to his time with Isla last week. How she randomly had to walk away from the group to call someone right after he made a nasty comment. How her garbage was piled up at the door when he walked into the house. George just assumed that she didn't have time to take it down before he got there, which technically was the case. Then he thought back to Isla saying she chose Tommy because of his capability to talk to people and that he knew about her disorder. George thought about how much of a struggle MCC must be for Isla.

"Shit man," George muttered, leaning back in his chair and rubbing his face with his hands.

"Don't tell me you're going soft on us now dude," Quackity laughed.

"Fuck no, I still fucking hate her," George quickly uttered, though his brain was completely muddled at all the new information he learned about the girl he hates.

He tried not to let it change anything, but he was so fascinated by her and wanted to know more about her. Would he ever outwardly admit to this? No. In fact, it'd be a struggle just getting himself to admit that maybe he didn't hate her as much as he made himself believe.
