A black darkness fills your head, the final thought of the ivy ropes holding you up by your leg from the side of the maze walls. You had jumped off the wall, banged your head against it and dangled there by the ivy.
you come back to consciousness and saw newt looking at you in concern. you feel a bloody bandage on your head and shin
"why'd you bring me back here. you should have left me!" you had said and your eyes started to water.
"I would never leave you"
"why do you care so much anyway!I'm so sick of this place-"
"Because i bloody love you, ok!" newt cut you off
you look at him and lock eyes, shocked that he cared so much about you.
"I do too, but i cant do this anymore. and besides...it would be better for everyone if i was dead." you roll over, your back now facing newt, tears rolling down your face.
"no it wouldn't. I don't know what I would do if you died. and I'm sure everyone else feels the same. If you died, i would literally go out of my mind." his voice was shaking and was still facing your back.
" i've been dead ever since i got here" your voice was a silent whisper, with tears falling on your lips.
"so have i, until you came" he walked over to you, so now he was facing you. He leaned over and kissed you, his warm lips against yours.
he wiped a tear away and then walked out.
