Chapter 29

Yusra's POV.

Time is flowing and fasting has already reached 15 and today in the evening insha Allah we will be going to Saudi

I woke up, just went to my bathroom and took a hot shower, got dressed up although our flight is taking off at 8:00 pm at least, we have to be at the airport 1hour before we take off. I arranged my luggage and head downstairs

"Masha Allah twinny, you look very cute," Yasmin said smiling at me

"Alhamdulillah, thanks baby," I said walking down the stair

"Good morning everyone" I greeted as I sit next to Mami

"Morning" Mami and Yasmin chorused

"Have you girls arranged your luggage?" Mami asked

"Yes Mami" we chorused

We were all sitting and gusting when Yaya and Abba came in

"Welcome" We chorused

"Thanks, dear" They replied and joined the conversation

"Masha Allah, may Allah continue to guide, bless and keep my beautiful family save" Abba pouted looking at us with love and care

"Amin ya Rabbi" We all chorused.

We all stood up and head to the kitchen to make food for Iftar because we will be having Iftar at the airport

After we were done, we went and prayed ASR and come back then started gisting like we are having a family reunion of 30 years. It's already 6:00 pm so we have to start going because it takes a long drive from my apartment to the airport. Our luggage was already arranged so, they were taken out to the car

"Indo, come out mna" Mami shouted

"I'm here Mami" indo replied coming out from her room

"We would have left if you didn't come out early" Ya Ameer joked

"Yaya Ameer, I must go ooh," Indo said putting on her jilbab, and we all head out to the car

And That was how we head to the airport Indo was very excited because this is her second time going to Saudi. We were all gisting happily and that was how we arrived at the airport. Immediately we arrived, it was already time for iftar. And something amazing was, we met up with Ya Hammad and his family we all had our iftar together in the Masjid that is located just near the airport terminal. After we were done, Abba lead the masjid in praying

We finished praying immediately at 7:30 pm and went back to the tarmac, waiting for the area for passengers before boarding their flight. My phone rang and I picked it up

"Hello Yusrah, when is your flight taking off?"My aunt(Mami's sister) that leaves in Saudi asked

"We will be boarding soon Addah" I replied

"Ok someone will be at the airport to pick you girls up. You'll see him with a banner and your name written on it" Addah said

"Ok Addah, see you soon," I said smiling

"Safe trip," Addah said.

"It's time for me to get Goin," I said as I hung up

"Adda was the one that called," I said looking at everyone

"Halima trouble a maker, so she won't call me," Mami said smiling

An announcement was made so we head to the plane

"I can't believe you guys are going," Umar's driver said in between sobs

"Sorry Umar, you should stay and look after your sick mum" Abba stuttered in protest

"Okay Abba" Umar said as Abba handed him a bundle of dollar

"Let's get going our flight attendance has already started announcing," Ya Ameer said smiling

We entered and settled in our first-class lounge where I was sitting next to Ya Hammad. All the passengers were checked in and our journey began. Oh God, I almost forgot to place my phone on airplane mode so immediately I remembered, and I quickly did so.

A journey of 5 hours isn't anyway easy at all. Alhamdulillah, we arrived at 1:06 am and it was 3:05 am there due to hours intervals between Nigeria and other countries. Immediately I came down, we all picked up our trolleys and diverted from the airport dragging our luggage. I saw someone afar with a banner and my name was written boldly

"There's the person Aunt sent," I said pointing in the man's direction

"Okay let's go,"  Mami said

"Hey, I'm Yusrah," I said

"Welcome ma'am," He said helping us with our luggage. The person to pick them Ya Hammad Was also there so we bade one another

And that was how we head to Dammam where my aunt left with her 3kids. Ajmal, Areefah, and Khalid. Immediately we arrived, he horned and the gate was being opened my aunt was already standing at the compound, and immediately the car was packed she rushed to hug me

"Welcome Yusrah" Addah said smiling happily

"Thanks so much, Addah," I said smiling back

"You won't welcome us right?" Mami said glazing at her sister

"I don't know you guys I know only my baby," Aunt said smiling

"That's good," Mami said as they head towards the other apartment where we normally stay when we're in Saudi

"Let's go in I know you must be extremely tired," Addah said grabbing my hands while we walk in. I'm already used to it, whenever we went there I usually stay in my aunt's apartment because I even have a room there while Mami stays in theirs

I was directed to the room I'll be staying for the main time. Immediately I entered I took a shower, prayed then had my dinner that my aunt kept on the mini table that is in the room

It was past 4 and I had barely an inch of sleep and my eyes were wide open. I don't know why I'm not going to bed although, it's late at night. Maybe it's because I changed my environment I stated to myself. So, I picked up my phone and oned my wifi because that's what's normally used outside

I called Yasmin on a face time and luckily enough, she was still awake. We gisted for about 30 minutes before we bade each other. I had my sahoor, prayed then flew away to Lala's land

Hammad's POV.

Today he missed sahur, so he just has to go with the fasting like that

He woke up around 2:30 pm so he prayed, got dressed up, and head to the main apartment. After they were greeted, they planned how their trip to Saudi will commence and which time they have to leave

They left home by 6:30 so they could reach on time. And to his surprise, he met up with the whole Family of Abubakar Mai dala

Immediately he saw Mami, he went to her to greet her. After they were greeted, they all head to the masjid to pray and have Iftar because it was already time for Iftar

After they had Iftar, they head to the plane and took off

Immediately they arrived at the airport, they were someone there to pick them off. So they bade each other and headed to their accommodations

Immediately they arrived at his father's Mansion that's in Dammam, they all head to their room, had a shower, had their Sahur, and headed to bed......
