Ch.19

Dave's POV
Three Days Later

I felt cold water being thrown on me, I sat up and mugged Teyana who was smiling.

"Bruh when are you going home?!" I yelled at her and she smacked me causing me to buck at her, she stood there unphased and walked out of my room before shouting

"I'll go home when I feel like it! I'm finna go see YOUR SON!" She said and I got up changing my shirt that she wet and followed behind her.

"Let me go with you" I told her and she turned around looking at me like I was crazy.

"It hasn't been a week Dave" She said and I sighed watching her walk out the house, I sat down on the couch and put my head in my hands before standing up and flipping the table that was in my living room over. Not seeing my kids is killing me inside and I know I did this to myself but I threw all the shit that I had away and I've only been smoking weed. I looked at the glass that was all over the floor and clenched my jaw while walking upstairs to my room, I punched a hole into my door and slammed the door. I sat on my bed and broke down crying, I don't usually cry but I couldn't take this shit anymore dead ass.

"I need to see my fucking kids" I mumbled to myself and stood up seeing blood on my knuckles, I opened the wound that was there when I punched the wall the other day. I huffed and walked into my bathroom wiping the blood off then wrapped my hand. After I was done I walked out of the bathroom then walked out of my room and went downstairs seeing Teyana and Ariana looking at the glass on the floor. I saw Kairi behind Ari's leg and Shirley walked in with a car seat in her hand. I rubbed my face and cleared my throat causing them to look at me.

"Nigga you turned into hulk or some shit? & why yo eyes red you was crying?" Teyana said causing me to mug her, she smiled and went into the kitchen, Ari walked over to me with Kairi and Kairi smiled at me holding her arms up, I picked her up and kissed all over her face causing her to giggle.

"I missed you Dad!" Kairi said while wrapping her arms around my neck. I smiled a little and went upstairs to one of our guest rooms, I sat her down on the bed and sat next to her.

"Daddy missed you too, you been good for Mommy?" I asked her and she nodded while showing me her pink nails. I chuckled and Ari walked into the room with Yosohn in her arms. I smiled and looked at her, she smirked and laid him in my arms.

"Damn he's tiny" I mumbled while looking down at him as he slept in my arms, I leaned down and kissed his forehead. I stared at him and smiled to myself.

"Daddy can we come home? I miss my room" Kairi said causing me to look at Ari who was staring at me, I looked down at Yosohn and he started to move around causing me to lay him on my chest and rub his back slowly.

"We're coming home today baby, Uncle Tae and Auntie Alyssa are going to bring our stuff" Ari said and I smiled inside but already knew it was going to feel awkward.

"Yayyy!" Kairi said while climbing off of the bed and running out of the room, Ari sat next to me and fixed Yosohn's socks.

"Are you ready for us to come home? I know it hasn't been a week but in all honesty I'm ready to come home and Teyana told me you threw it away" She said and I nodded while giving her my full attention.

"Of course I'm ready for y'all to come home" I said and she nodded while tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I'm coming back home for the kids... You and I still have shit to fix" She said causing me to sigh and shake my head while standing up slowly with Yosohn on my chest.

"Aight Ari" I said and she sucked her teeth trying to take Yosohn from me. I chuckled and moved back while looking down at her.

"Fuck you tryna take him for bruh? Cause I said aight?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes while crossing her arms.
