"Daddy juice!" My daughter Kairi said , I picked her up and walked to the kitchen grabbing her sippi cup out the fridge handing it to her. My daughters really my world, her mama aint shit but I'm glad she lets me see her whenever I want. If she's not with me, she's with my moms. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone going off. I looked at the name and it was Ari.
"Yo" I said and there was no reply
"Yo? Ari?" I said again while kissing Kairi's forehead. I heard her crying and she told me she needed me. I hung up and walked out the kitchen with Kairi, grabbed her bag and grabbed my keys walking out the door.
A Few Minutes Later
I pulled up to Ari's crib got out the car and got Kairi out her car seat then locked the doors walking up to her house. I rang the doorbell and knocked on her door while looking at a sleepy Kairi.
"You're about to meet the woman that should've been your mom" I said while kissing her cheek and she smiled while rubbing her eyes then laid her head on my shoulder. Ari opened the door with red, puffy eyes and stepped to the side letting us in. I walked over to her couch and laid Kairi down while kissing her forehead then I looked over at Ari who was rubbing her arm and watching me.
"What's going on Ma?" I asked walking up to her and she looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"I'm just so stupid! I should've never told him. I should've just broken up with him and maybe our baby would still be here" She said while sliding down the wall in tears. I clenched my jaw and squatted down infront of her grabbing her chin and looking her in the eyes.
"It's partially my fault. If I wouldn't have had sex with Alexis, we wouldn't have been broken up and our child would be here" I said while clearing my throat and wiping the tears from her eyes. Bagg's bitch ass better be lucky he got life with no parole cause I woulda killed his ass.
"I keep having these dreams that I'm pregnant even though I haven't had sex with anyone in a long time & when I would go to touch my belly.. my bump would disappear" She said while looking up at me and I bit my lip sighing. I looked over at a sleeping Kairi and helped Ari up. She wiped her face and fixed her shirt.
"She's adorable" Ari whispered but I heard her. I pulled her into a tight hug and she wrapped her arms around my waist , I kissed the top of her head and rubbed her back slowly.
"Why didn't you tell me you had a kid?" She asked with her arms still wrapped around me. I sighed and licked my lips
"Me and Kairi's mom was never really a thing. We met at the club you and Dream use to work at and I took her back to my crib one thing led to another and I slipped up.. She hits me up a few months later telling me she's carrying my seed and I didn't believe her but was still there for her, when Kairi was born she looked exactly like me" I told Ari and she nodded slowly while letting me go. I looked at her and she rubbed her hands against her pants.
