Some things never last.
--I knew that.
But even then, I want this to last as long as it can.

The morning after (3rd person POV)
This morning was different from the others. The air around them was different...colder, thicker.
--The sun never came out that day.
But here he was, standing on the top ledge of unfamiliar doorsteps, at 7 am. Both he and that mother both lost someone that day. Despite Tadashi's actions, his mother was her own person, and she still lost a child. He and her both felt the aching hole left in them from losing someone, and he needed to talk to her. To give her the closure that he got from Yuji.

"By the time we arrived on the scene, your son was already dead." Megumi explained, "to be honest, I was skeptical about saving any of the people in there."
...
"But my friend was different."
"He wasn't successful, but he tried to bring your son's body back to you after we confirmed his death."
There was a short pause for a moment. Once he was sure the woman wouldn't say anything, he pulled out a ziplock bag from his pocket that contained Tadashi's name tag.
"...Take this, at least," he said, handing it to her.
...
"I'm sorry we weren't able to save Tadashi-san," he whispered, bowing.
He didn't move from his bow, he simply stared at the ground.
...
"It's alright, don't apologize," the woman sniffled.
"...I'm the only one who will be mourning his passing, anyway..." she continued, soon starting to full on weep.
Fushiguro closed his eyes and clenched his teeth as the mother fell to her knees, sobbing.

Back at Jujutsu Tech
"No way! I won't let you use me as a training object!" Nobara yelled, running as fast as she could away from Panda.
Nobara and Y/n had met the second years this morning, they tried their hardest to seemed unfazed by their friends' death. And honestly, you couldn't even tell anything was wrong. They figured that they should train for the exchange event with Maki, Toge, and Panda to take their mind off things. It successfully worked for Y/N for a while, but her mind often flashed back to the image of her friend bleeding out in front of her. She seemed oddly normal on the outside, except she hasn't been smiling. She almost seemed like the Y/N she was before Jujutsu Tech.
"You're late Megumi." Maki scoffed, looking back at the ravenette behind her.
"Kelp," Toge greeted.
